Hello Counter-Strikers!
The past week, some of us have been playing competitive 5v5 "scrims" with only eGO members. It's been pretty much been the same group of guys; BlackDragon, Frody, Toast, Luke_Savage, Patrat, myself and a few others. I thought maybe others would like to join or at least try it out!
I noticed that there is a steam group for this, but it's not very active. So I decided to post on the forums about it. We usually play from about 5-9 PM PST. If you would like to play, just join Teamspeak around that time just about every night! We use an external site called popflash to make teams and decide a server and map. This acts almost as if it’s faceit. Everyone can vote on a map to play, it doesn't matter what rank you are, and everyone is friendly!
We have some basic rules as well. (all discussed by Sweg, Patrat, Uber, Tai, and myself)
Rule One: No Auto Snipers. We understand that these are in the game for a reason. But recently some have used auto snipers to tilt others and provoke to rage. Kappa
Rule Two: No mic spamming or spamming the chat. Just don’t spam your binds
Rule Three: You can curse, but don't constantly do it. Don’t make it excessive.
Rule Four: Do not throw! Yes this is a just for fun game, but throwing can make it not fun for your teammates who want to win.
Rule Five: No Racism. Simple
Rule Six: If you leave without decent reason, you will be banned from the 5v5s for a week.
Disclaimer: Lol yes we realize this is not sponsored by eGO. It’s just a friendly game between members. !! And even though this is not an eGO sponsored event some restrictions do apply as stated above. If you’re caught swearing in excess and members feel that leadership should take this up, we will dropbox the problem as you are a member of eGO.
BY PARTICIPATING IN THESE 5V5S YOU AGREE TO COMPLY WITH THE RULES STATED; IF ANY RULE IS BROKEN A PUNISHMENT WILL BE HANDED OUT ACCORDINGLY.
