Is the Disco Control area a CT area?

I know I have had different answers from different people,

Hopefully this thread can end it all.


Is the area in disco (such as in night escape) a CT area, and therefore KOS'able for being inside of it.

I think it just depends on the map and if it is connected directly to a CT area, but that's just imo idk if it's true

Depends on the map. The disco booth on all of my maps are not considered CT areas, and in the future they won't even be elevated at all. That's really just to kill freeze dance for anyone who thinks it isn't considered a reaction game (which would make it banned)

If theres a watermelon, it is not part of CT area.
IF there ISNT a watermelon, well sadly guess what. Its a CT Area.

Depends TBH. On a map if the disco booth is pretty high up, you should probably consider it CT land. Also, the warden can call it too and usually would restrict it if they're decent

IMO it is always a CT area because there are controls there that are meant (or were) for playing games.

From what I've seen and understood:

1. Its a CT area IF it connects to other CT areas (I.E. catwalks, etc.) to it. (Think nightescape)

2. If its a standalone booth, or on the floor, then its not a CT area. (Think new Canyon)

But on nightescape the CT and Disco Booth are disconnected by a railing.

It has always depended on the map.

Some maps it is connected directly to a CT area, some maps it is a standalone booth.

However, wardens can still restrict areas. It is advised if a warden says to go to disco and restricts the booth, then two guards should be in there if possible to prevent prisoners from rebelling easily against the guards in the booth.

Like most people. It depends on the map. If you have to climb into the area (ie ladder or place for ct to be out of reach) or it is connected to the ct in some way.
