Hey!

This is solely based on this: https://www.prestige-gaming.org/rules/terrortown/ -- If there is another rulebook, please let me know.

I've now been playing on pG TTT for some time and having the rules up on my 2nd monitor so I can always scroll through them when in doubt is very helpful.

Though there are some specific areas that I would like to get clarified, or even just mentioned:

DNA Scanner clarification
Right now it says nothing about DNA Scanners and it's functions. How many bodies you need to scan to call KOS, and if it differs between Innocent and Detective bodies.

Innocent Camping
I know that most pre-merge eGO TTT players are used to Innocents being allowed to camp, since it's the traitors' duty to kill off the innocents. The fact that Innocents are not allowed to camp is nowhere in the rules, and was to me (pre-merge eGO admin) very confusing in the beginning.

T Baiting
Nowhere to be found was a rule about T baiting. It has not been clarified, nor has it even been mentioned.

I would like to add that I did figure out (by going on TS and asking pre-merge pG admins about the specific rules) what to do in those specific situations, and what is what. I just wish for other newcomers and pre-merge eGO members and admins to be able to read through the rules, and get a clear view of what is going on.

Thanks!

IMHO for t-baiting: "T-baiting is not allowed. This means do not actively act as a traitor when you are not, and do not attempt to get people to RDM you by committing "fringe" traitorous acts (shooting around someone, claiming you are a traitor in-game, etc. etc.)

For Detectives, how its been done before on other servers is a player is KoS by means of DNA Scan when:
2 Innocents Killed
OR
1 Detective Killed
OR
Player killed by Knife.

I'm not really certain as to what the differences are from eGO and pG TTT, but i do know that most servers do tend to run that idea for DNA Scanners.

I think the only the only addition could be made in the rules is expanding the traitorous act "Being called out for 'kill-on-sight' (KOS) by a detective." If we added something like: (Detectives need one DNA scan on an innocent body to call a valid KOS) or (Only one innocent DNA scanner result is required to call a valid KOS). But honestly this could live in the FAQ too and it would be totally fine

Delay is already in the rules so I don't think we need to expand on it, I think adding a definition of delay into the FAQ should be fine.

For T-Baiting I guess we could add it into "how to play" but players who T-Bait aren't going to stop because we add a rule that says do not t-bait. I think T-baiting should just be defined in the FAQ. Something like "Q: What is T-Baiting A: Intentionally acting like a traitor is considered griefing and is server punishable. Innocents should not be intentionally commiting traitorous acts or claim to be a traitor."

I added this to the FAQ thread.

  • Intentionally acting like a traitor is considered griefing and is server punishable. Innocents should not be intentionally commiting traitorous acts or claim to be a traitor

I added this to the TTT Rules.
