Hello everyone, I am coming to you all with the news that we have shut down the eGO Jailbreak server. While I understand this is not the best news for some of you, we as Leadership believe this is for the best. Do not think of this as a goodbye though, think of this as a relocating of sorts. We still have a Jailbreak server that you can play on and enjoy, it just so happens to have a different IP.

We know that some things can be different with the server and that you have voiced your concerns with it, so we would like to see what you think should be changed/pulled over from eGO/etc. to make the Jailbreak server more enjoyable for all to play on. Post here in the thread (I have seen the Jailbreak Fixes/Issues thread) those concerns so we can have 1 place where we can see all the suggestions. Think of it as a consolidation of sorts.

I know this will be a tough pill to swallow for a lot of us, but we believe with a little bit of time and some elbow grease (hypothetically) we can make the server even better than before. So do no mourn the passing of our eGO Jailbreak server, think of all the great times we have shared on it and never forget those memories. I hope that we can make more great memories on the other Jail server and in the future to come.​

But since you asked for suggestions I think the tkills plugin should transfer over. BUT ONLY if it does not count lr kills, so it can actually mean something instead of seeing who farms the most lr kills. Also it would be cool if there was a monthly competition on tkills and they get like a forum award or special tag.

Yeah because Ego jail was empty while pg jail was full so why keep ego jail.

Woah. Talk about the end of an era. I played on my first jailbreak server in 2009 and it was an eGO one. We had some great maps made by our members and I had some fun memories on it over the years, especially on CSS. I totally understand the decision though and you guys did give it a lot of time and it had it's ups and downs. It is fortunate the pG one does exist and hopefully we can see everyone come together there.

Honestly, it lived longer than it should've.
With that being said, I played eGO jailbreak way back when in Source, and seeing this go is definitely a hard one, but it is definitely time.
I, however really enjoy the servers that pG has brought over, so not everything is sad!
