Resolved CS:S Remove Spray

If you do sm_removespray you get an option to warn the player but when you click the warn button, it does not actually send them anything. Also, you cannot see other admin's psay's so that would be cool if that could be implemented as well :biggrin:

Does sm_spraytrace work for you? I believe that's what I've been using on our source games for a long time. I'd have to double check though.

You can never see another admin's psay on source games ever, that was a thing custom to Pg server.

for the spray thing you can use the sm_admin command they have the spray remove warn/ban commands in there and it always warns when ever i did it. as for the psays i dont think we used it because we were trained to say "got" in admin chat or say "warning (name)for" but i do like how in pg servers have it so all admins see it. would be nice if implemented

As a side note, don't use spraytrace for kicks/bans. Use it to figure out who has the bad spray / remove the spray but use sm_kick or sm_ban for other actions. Why? Because I've seen spraytrace bug out and target the wrong person in cs:s

Ya we tested this yesterday and the sm_removespray command and clicking warn doesnt actually warn the player. We tried with 2-3 different players and no luck

Whenever you try to use sm_adminspray to show a players spray, the spray doesn't show up. I tried to find a players spray, didn't show the spray. I did it to myself, same result.

Join a team/spectate, aim at a wall with your crosshair and use the command.

Iirc, the admin spray command is supposed to respray someone elses spray at your crosshair, for when sprays are stacked on top of each other or there was a report of a bad spray and you cant find it.

Likewise, I tried to use it yesterday and the command works. However, when you use sm_adminspray the image shows the name of the player to which it was sprayed by, but a blank image appears.

I tried this, blank image appears. I assume since this plugin was made in 2008 and hasn't had any updates... its broke.

It seems everything else is working but resparying the spray. I am not sure if we even need this function anymore tbh...

I'll let CS leadership decide if they want us to focus on fixing this or not. I'd assume they wont. I will try reuploading the plugin and see what happens.

This prevents admins from removing pornographic and other inappropriate sprays from the game until the spray times out.

Junior administrators should share the same access rights in terms of the ability to remove sprays. After testing this out on the server this isn't the case. They are prompted with a [SM] You don't have access to this command. Additionally, this command does not exist in the Admin Menu (sm_admin).

Type sm_removespray at the targeted spray.

I was informed that this was a bug and that eG's should have the same access rights when it comes to sprays in general.
