Priorities.
Single actions seldom overtake the priority of a larger project unless necessary. Servers crash, oh well. Servers need maps, oh well. Configs need changing, oh well.
Those are thing we get around to when larger, more important projects are complete. I've got like three large projects that benefit multiple servers personally.
I mean when the player base is dying for a reason that could be easily fixed and isn't because there are other priorities that will take over that won't be out for weeks or months is a problem because like fist said there will be noone there to play.
Such as when the server crashes, that hurts the server and when its been happening for months since a plugin, that wasn't tested, is put on a server and is messed with while people play because it is broken (no offense to gabe or anyone who did it like this) and when it causes so many problems and many of the people who play the server stop because of it and want the older versions back, or for the new one to be fixed, but aren't because not just the tech team but everyone (who has a say in it) says they dont save old versions (which i dont know why no one in tech saves old versions of something, its dumb) and that the new one will be worked on but never does. None of those things should of ever happened but they did and im not blaming anybody but something should've been done about it months ago when the problems were starting to get worse at least and if not when it all started. Also when there are things such as a server needs maps or something needs changed such as air acceleration, those are fairly simple fixes that will help the server and take barley any time or work away from the larger projects tech works on which shouldnt just be overlooked for those larger projects.
