Counter-Strike Global Offensive Jail Server pg jail rules are too strict

Our intentions weren't to start some sort of war between eGO and pG. Was simply stating that admins from eGO's Jailbreak aren't use to having to administrate an active 40+ players daily all at once on Jailbreak, and players weren't use to playing with that many people.

Both sides need to relax.

To EGO peeps. Understand that pG Jailbreak was the core of the community for a long time. The admins from JB have put countless hours into rules, playing, and discussing the meta game for it. Jailbreak rules are strict because loopholes have been found for rules, so then more rules get added... It's and endless loop. When JB was young, the rules were so relaxed because it was new. People weren't finding loopholes for rules because the rules were brand new.

Admining JB is hard. Much harder than admining most other CSGO servers simply because every round there is a potential freekill, or rdm, or fail warden action.

This merge between EGO and PG is fresh. Time will allow everyone to come together and either amend certain rules, or add new ones that make the server better.

A divide between pG JB Admins and eGO Admins is clearly active. Everyone needs to be patient and understand it takes time to incorperate ideas from both sides.

I'm biased, but a lot of the rules that are in place are there because people said 'the rules are too loose'.. The cycle won't stop until leadership demands it does.

See the problem is the more rules you put in place, the more loopholes people will find. Take fish in a barrel for example. Once one person found it as a loophole, everyone started using it until it got banned. Same with stuff like "MW2 Trickshot Simulator" (although I'm not sure people actually do this). As long as the rules are stringent, there will always be that one person who reads through the fine lines to get something done. I think the current rules are perfectly fine the way they are, and as previous experience of being warden, killing off an entire server to get to LR in 8:50 or however long a round is can be challenging, and it requires some extra thought as to how you can speedily play games and eliminate t's off. If you find the current warden bad, then put some extra thought as to how to rebel. Rebelling is way more fun than playing the games and trying to get to lr, as all the guards get uneasy and its great fun to shred CT's

Well to be perfectly honest, in my humble opinion, of course without offending anyone who thinks differently from my point of view, but also by looking into this matter in a different perspective and without being condemning of one?s view?s and by trying to make it objectified, and by considering each and every one?s valid opinion, I honestly believe that I completely forgot what I was going to say.

The reason we play the "pilar jump" like u said(its called a cancer jump) is you can get past the first game and play games like dodge cours, but your point "I rarely see any person from eGO actually play on the jail server b/c its so toxic it really isnt fun and only the admins who came from pg play on it." why should we change the rules for a few Ego members that dont like the way it is, if the large portion of players who are from be4 the merge are cool with it.

That from my mind i do agree that some commands are unreasoneble (or whatever), but it all depends on the Warden there is. u said u moved your mouse cause u hitted your chair, if it was only that its a twich and u cant kill for that, u are able to do so when afk frozen

Interesting people are acting like eGO jail was never hard to admin because it wasn't crazy busy.

I truly must be a relic.

44 slot days with more rebellions and more competent guards. Oh 2009 I miss you.

I let people voice their opinions for enough time now. Obviously it is impossible to please every single person that joins. More rules will inhibit creativity and will not benefit the many on the server. There may need to be tweaks here and there (the luck based game limit I can see being one of them), but at this point you just seem like you are nitpicking. Players finding new game modes/servers to play is not entirely a bad thing. I love playing minigames, surf, and bhop because they aren't mentally intense like Jail/TTT are. If I wanted that, I would just go play a competitive gamemode. Not saying I won't play Jail/TTT, I'm just stating that people playing our other servers is not a bad thing.

One last thing, you say the server is too strict. Wouldn't putting MORE rules in make it MORE strict? I dunno, might just be me thinking that. Love the discussion, but man some of the things I've read made me almost put my head through my desk.
