Is there a way we can block players without a minimum number of hours player or something to keep people from ban evading and to help prevent the people who join the server and just mass rdm or create whatever kind of other chaos?

I doubt it. I think the only way would be to block F2P players. And tbh, we should.

It creates way more chaos than benefit, so please disable F2P from joining.

well, that would stop growth in every way, since new people getting csgo will not be able to play jailbreak, limiting the growth to whatever it is now (which honestly is still alot)

but also its already 8 hours of playing to be ct, so no mass freekill unless they are very devoted.
i think we should just keep the way it is, so we can have more growth. maybe improve hacking ware (or whatever we use to detect hacking)

i believe TT and Cl are trying to find a way to create a ban that will ban people who is banned, so it will go in and check every person ip to check if they have been ban evading from other accounts so they get instantly banned but if they are not looking for that kind, it would be useful hopefully, i dont know if its hard to create but i will just suggest to wait for a fix from TT and CL, and i do believe they will notify us if they are going to

I agree with Beast. Most people that rejoin the server to either spray stack mass RDM or be racist are all people on second accounts. Limiting FTP isnt a good idea because a year down the line the server will probably have less players. I think that IP bans are the way to go beacause then it doesn't limit new players but it also keeps to old bad players away.

I think players should have 8 hours to join ct. If smn has less than 8 hours and the queue is empty he can join CT.

I meant like minimum of 20 or 200 hours, even 5-10 would be good enough to keep people out who are just making fake accounts to **** with people, IP banning is good, I support that and all but it doesn't stop people with a proxy.

IP Banning is useless now with all of the different methods of getting around it. When CS:GO wasn't F2P, there were less ban evasions etc etc... But, banning F2P is a waste, like previously stated a year down the line, a decent amount of us will probably move on and since then, more F2P players would come on the server. Blocking F2P will lead to the server slowly dying

That's not true. The server has run for years without any F2P and it will still thrive without F2P. But if we could finally get IP bans implemented like in pG, it wouldn't matter, then I will gladly take F2Ps. But right now, it's chaos with ban evaders and trolls.

Yeah, true, they can still evade if they want. But it's going to be harder/more work.

We could have a server plug-in to auto-ban on connect. That would ensure no one ban evades.

Is IP banning a thing?
Yes. It's an option in sourcemod. I'm preety sure leadership can't even IP ban, not sure though.

does that work if you're playing from a proxy on an alt?
Oh yes! There's no getting around this method. Generate all the alt accounts you want, they'll be banned too.

They used to have console access. I know I did. I think it was at Advisor level.

That's only for jb. On jb, they might have to wait 8 hours to be ct but on TTT they don't need to wait to mass freekill. And also jb players who get freekilled can just wait for next round to be prisoner again. What about ttt? On TTT, they mass rdm, get on an alt after being banned, and mass rdm again. And those people who wait rounds after rounds and sometimes maps just to get T, will have to wait again. And since eGO's do not have power to give people T's, we cannot just give them their t round back. It totally ruins the experience for all players and would discourage them from continue playing on our servers. And new players (due to bad experience on our servers) who might've want to get into our servers would be discouraged from coming back. I'd rather keep our current regulars (who already know the rules) and grow from people who regularly play cs (who are serious about learning the rules and maybe joining the community) rather than random ppl with brand new accounts who just play to troll. Just feel like we should protect our current community before thinking about growth.

If someone is playing from a proxy on an alt, it is untraceable unless they have connected to our servers with that alt from the banned ip.
(i know it's not literally untraceable but unless if you're law enforcement on a huge case you're not getting that info)
