Venting Out on What the Community is Doing Wrong and What They Should Fix

To start out, I have done disrespectful acts in the CS:GO Jailbreak server and you can list me as a person who doesn't know what I'm talking about or is just calling out the community and admins just because of a personal grudge. I am venting out because I am trying to make the community understand and realize that some admins themselves that other admins are disobeying the community's rules. Please understand that I hold no personal grudge on any admin or member of this community. I am speaking on behalf of how I feel and what I have seen other people that play in your Jailbreak sever say about the way the community handles things. With that being said, the rules on your servers say that no hacks or scripts are allowed that allow an unfair advantage against other people playing in your server. Aubrey is an admin that sometimes plays in the CS:GO Jailbreak server; it's odd that I see her/him bhopping faster than any other player in the server without any "t secret". I find that suspicious. I have no way to prove that she has scripts, I am only seeing this based on observation of other players bhopping. Again, I have no personal grudge against any member of the community, I am venting out because I tire of seeing of the higher-ups getting invulnerability to consequences. I am pretty sure many others do to.

When it comes to admins being chosen, I believe there should be a poll within the community, not only along the higher-ups. For example, Houzekeeping is another recent admin that can be sometimes rude. He once said in the server that he does not care about what people think about him or what we say and that he is not here to make friends. A candidate admin should be friendly with the servers and be well liked by the community in general. Not because they keep reposting the website rules in the chat but by knowing the rules and being consistent in making someone abide by the rules when they see a particular person had violated a rule.

I fully understand that some admins are adults and can be stressed from work or school and choose to get on the servers and not respond to admin chat to help resolve issues. I understand that completely. I understand they want to play and have fun to relieve the stress. Again, I have no personal grudge against the admins that I listed, they were just recent ones that I took notice of.

Please take this post into consideration.

I don't think a poll would be logical as just because someone is popular among the community/server they play on, doesn't mean they are mature enough to become an actual admin. Adding onto that, if you ever suspect an admin of breaking the rules you can always make a Contact Leadership post and express your concerns.

In the example of Aubrey, there is no one way to bhop faster than another player, the entire csgo engine is made to limit players so when they hit the ground at over a certain speed, they get reduced.
It is indeed possible that Aubrey is better at bhopping than other players, but there is no way of them going faster. other things like framerate, ping, and if they use a scrollwheel to jump can improve overall consistancy.

So you're telling me that Aubrey, we should hand out consequences solely based on one observation that you made within the server? Yeah no. I've seen Aubrey play, they're legit.

Admin votes are kept to the proper leadership to avoid favoritism; yet if you want to recommend somebody within the contact leadership forums, you're more then welcome to if you have proper reasoning.

For you last claim of how "admins don't respond to admin chat" or whatever, I'm sure we see it, but we like to play the game as well. "Play first, admin later." We're all here to play a game in a gaming community. When I join a server, I join a server to have fun with the people on it; not admin.

then resign your place as admin if you dont login to be an admin. A freekill could happen right in front of you but you would not have the balls to say, "I come in here to have fun not admin".

Please ban me from the community for saying this. I will laugh because that would mean you'd be offended or find that offensive or think it's disrespect. It is not disrespect. It is simply the truth.

If you feel a player is hacking but are unsure, the best way to get this checked into would be to record a demo of them. This is as simple as typing into console "record demoname" (replace demoname) with what you want it to be named. The people that review hacking bans are generally leadership in our community who have a high level of experience with CS gameplay, and can typically spot the difference between skilled competitive players and hackers or script users, or those utilizing some sort of glitch that gives them an advantage. Often times when we are on the fence about these things, we call in others to review it as well for second opinions.

Another thing to take into consideration is that within eGO, we use a global admin system. That is to say, if I am an admin for DoD:S, I also am on CS:GO, Gmod, TF2, etc. I jump between games myself from time to time. Rules I can easily enforce that I see are things like racism, mic spam, disrespect, etc. However, I don't know enough about the CS:GO game to directly say "This is a cheat", unless it's blatant aimbotting. Sorta making some sense here?

Just because an admin does not respond to admin chat, does not mean they are not investigating the issue. Granted, sometimes things get missed in the craziness than can be the tiny chat box. But with a ban request, you can take it upon yourself to get this looked in. I hope this can answer some of your questions and point you in the right direction to solve your problems.

God damn, you had so much better things that you could rant about. But you pick, an admin you think is scripting, and the promotional system.

1. Think is hacking
2. Forums and Teamspeak has 1000 and 10% to do with it. eGO doesn't promote the best people all the time, I think everyone on leadership can admit to that, but it's hard. So yes, there will be flaws in the system. Point those admins out in the dropbox links that Simon provided, and go along with your day.
