Being a long time players of this server, today I got to thinking: it would be beneficial to put together a TTT tutorial video something simple maybe 2 minutes long outlining the primary concepts of the game. Even if it's going to get ignored by many players, I think it would be quicker for new players to watch a video than read the rules which are long, confusing, and make little sense when you first start the server. The rules are complex by comparison to just about any other server. Not to mention many people are just best taught visually.

Just an idea, and something I am willing to take a part in as I believe it would help new players to understand the server rules at a faster rate than currently.

Already been suggested and shot down for JB, I assume the same would apply to TTT: https://www.edge-gamers.com/forums/...of-the-rules&p=3104803&viewfull=1#post3104803

We aren't going to spoon feed those that can't take a brief moment of their time to look over our written rules by making a tutorial on Jailbreak. This has already been suggested before (I can't find the post) and the verdict is the same. If you want to make a video about Jailbreak, more power to you, but we won't be doing anything of that nature.

the difference is that this is not rule exclusive, and this goes more in depth with how to actually play the game. simply reading the rules will not teach you the basics of the game as well as a video can, i see this being highly beneficial and should be embed into the rules post. Thorium let me at it

not to mention how many new players are banned for mass ram just because they didn't understand the game mode

i totally agree with redchance about the whole video idea and if you ever need some volunteers im here redchance, but from what I see from the replies it seems someone already made a video explaining the rules.it was worth a try tho I guess

Looks like Media Team has decided to pursue this idea which I think is a great idea. If you are interested please refer to this thread HERE. For those who arent eG+ I would recommend reaching out to Arbiter or xValence if you would like to help with it.
