In my opinion TF2 Jailbreak is a lot better than csgo Jailbreak. I mainly think that because I have been playing TF2 Jailbreak for around three years and I find it to be more fun. With a TF2 Jailbreak server it can attract more people to the community or even make people actually play on our TF2 servers. TF2 Jailbreak also allows players like me with a pc that is a straight toaster be able to play Jailbreak without lagging constantly. TF2 Jailbreak also is more fun because TF2 has a lot of cool plugins that admins can use such as resizing, remodeling, and recoloring players. There is also other cool plugins such as admins being able to change gravity or things like grabbing players and doing whatever you want with them. So to me TF2 Jailbreak is a lot more fun for admins and for players. It would give us more things to do and people like me would be able to enjoy playing Jailbreak without lagging.

If we REALLY want a better JB server, then why not move to Garry's Mod? -1 for me

A jailbreak server on TF2 would be more likely because we no longer have a GMod division.

Either way, I don't see any good reason as to why we should have 2 different JB servers.

CSGO can do all that too, the only difference that you mentioned in your post is the being able to play on toaster computers.

We will keep the idea in mind, but we don’t have a server to put it on at the moment. We would not do it without seeing if CSGO leadership would have a problem with us starting another JB server. We are a community and we have to work together to keep things working smoothly.

This doesn’t mean we won’t do it, but it will take a while to get it organized if we do.

CSGO JB is still good, if it wasn't then the server wouldn't be maxed out nearly every day.

Honestly, we saw what happened when pG tried to introduce TF2 JB events. No one came. No one was interested in coming or even trying it. I don't see TF2 JB bringing more players to the community.

I can help organize things, it can be a real source of recruits

Most of the those plugins you referenced are actually already a part of TF2's "fun" commands and exist (They also exist in most source servers), but are restricted to the event servers and only accessible by leadership/event coordinators. We don't open them up to regular admins because it tends to get abused and cause problem in the server.

I think the big issue is that to do JB on TF2 we'd require a strong admin base on TF2 and a lot of interest there. TF2 does not have anywhere near the membership numbers that CS has to support the amount of admining and rules required.

There's existing JB TF2 servers. We'd be entering a market where people already have their preference - it would take a LOT of work from our community and support to bring this up. I'm not sure you'd have that. The current servers are fairly lowly ranked as is.

While the idea sounds nice, custom servers require a lot of attention, tech time, and community support. I don't know that you would currently get that based on the spread of resources and where the TF2 community within eGO is at.
