Yes, I'm really suggesting this. It may seem crazy, but hear me out.
The taser is extremely frustrating. At the very beginning of the round (in which practically all tasers are used), a T can be found out and killed, without them even having any opportunity to do anything fun. They then have to wait out the entire duration of the round in order to play again, and even longer in order to try again at being a T. All of that waiting, for making practically no mistake.
Some people may simply say, "Well, just kill the person that tased you before they do!", and to that, I say, "If you tase somebody alone, you're doing it wrong. Most tasers are used at the beginning of a round, nearby large groups of innocents.".
The taser just shouldn't be in the gamemode as a traitor-detecting tool. It disrupts the flow of gameplay to the point where tased traitors feel cheated out of a T round.
What do you think of this proposal. Maybe removing the taser entirely would be a bit of an overreaction, but what about not giving detectives a free one upon assignment? That would improve the situation greatly.
