March will be the tenth anniversary for bfbc2. I played this game longer than any other I think. I did play battlefield 2 that came out in 2005 for a long time also, that game at the time was new and unlike anything before it, no bullet drop, but other than that it was awesome game play. It's funny because I play heavy metal all the time but when I play some of the other maps it reminds me that oh yea this game is old. I've bought all the other battlefield games except for the last one, I guess they were going for call of duty sales and forgot what separated them. No more rented servers or anything that is geared for the gamers, it's sad really, at least they are somewhat getting away from in game purchases. In some of the older games I use to play they had map editors and user created maps were some of the best, but now it's all about control and money. EA is like Disney, buying everything up and milking it for all it has while destroying it at the same time. I refuse to watch Star wars. Just venting, how do you feel about the state of gaming?

Gaming has definitely turned into a money pit now, don't get me wrong, there is a lot of good developers out there but most are controlled by parent companies that instruct them to milk money and it's sad to see! Wish its make your fanbases happy first, whether that be the casual fanbase or competitive/esports fan base for some games... but on the bright side, the gaming industry has grown so much in the last decade! It's awesome to see all fresh games were getting (even though we're in a BR cycle right now haha) and how good the games are getting gameplay and graphic wise

One game I played recently called pavlov on vr was very interesting. I'm not sold on vr yet, but that game did show me what was possible. I'm getting old and it's hard to move around like I use to, so vr is hard for me but that game was the best I've seen on vr. Virtual reality could help us all get into better shape and maybe we could all go out on camping trip or something.

My kid and I use to play BF2 , we had a riot , had excellent communication , the computer desks were side by side . We use to play BC2 the same way , we use to totally kick A$$ because we could just talk to each other and drink beer and game , ah the good old days . Mercer I feel the same way about Star Wars , yuk ! I'm a Trekkie , have all the movies except the last 2 , my kid is into Star Trek Online on VR , he totally rocks at it .
