Hello Gamers.

It seems we've had a few incidents in the last few days with some Hitman RP.

I've decided to take some time and make post explaining how this type of RP should go, so you don't break the rules and it's fair and fun for everyone. At the end of the day, this is a game, meant for fun. So, below I've outlined the way that GTA LE and myself believe proper Hitman RP should play out.

Simple having your hit-men roll up, inform the individual that some Criminal McBadGuy placed a hit on them and then immediately killing them,we believe, is classified as powergaming and in some cases RDM. This is because it forces the individual into a narrow scenario where they can only die or by some miracle, fight off the hit-men. We understand that in real life, you don't necessarily know you have a hit placed on you but this isn't real life. It's a game, meant to be fun, like I said. While we try to maintain as realistic as we can, realistic isn't always fun for all parties involved.

We believe the proper way to roleplay out a hitman scenario would be to allow the individual who has the hit place on them a chance to react to the information. You need to make damn sure that individual knows they have a hit on them. Simply sending a single tweet is not good enough, not everyone watches the chatbox like a hawk. You should (or have someone) call them or text them or just straight up approach them and inform them that there has been a hit placed on them. This would allow them a chance to react and have a part in the scenario. This at least gives them a fighting chance to possibly combat the hit, maybe even figure out who placed the hit, or involve the cops and create RP for more than just the hitmen and the victim.

The bottom line is, you need to make sure they know there is a hit on them and you need to give them an opportunity to participate in the scenario. Simply offing them as soon as they're made aware is not fun at all and we believe it is powergaming.

This is the provision set forth by GTA LE. If you follow the correct scenario, there should be no issues with the rules.

If you have any questions, post them below.
