As I experienced this a few times and to avoid further disagreements on the server.

On some few maps more often..it happens that a Traitor kills people from above or from a building/hiding. maybe next to u maybe not.
U stand there above un-id bodies because u see him aiming for you and u are alert that he might shoot u/ kill u. An other innocent comes out the corner and sees u not id-ing bodies.
Shoots u basically on sight..

Prioritizing id-ing bodies should not be the case when your life is in direct danger and players may not shoot if u are not (yet) walking away from the bodies.

You aren't under any obligation to ID the body if someone is actively shooting at you. In the same case, people should not be shooting at you when you are in an active firefight, they should be waiting until the firefight ends and then see you identify the body.

However, I don't exactly blame the person if you standing over an Un-ID'd body and you are shooting at someone else. It takes maybe a second to ID the body, so I don't find that this is much of an issue.

Situation example where i've been in.

I hear shots 3 people die. Next to me is a house with only 1 exit, i come face to face with most likely the traitor. Under me are the bodies while i cant aim away from knowing he will shoot me the instant I lay down my crosshair and identify. In the meanwhile 100m away an inno sees only me but not the guy in the house. He sees only me and un-id bodies under me. With that information he shoots me for not id-ing.

It may take only a second to id, but it takes 1 shot and less then a second to die.

The only thing I want is as long as u dont walk away from the un-id bodies nobody shoots unless traitor off course. Not just giving a few sec to id and if not shot on sight which happens more often though

I think this all comes down to People being impatiant. There are solutions but

So this situation that you're referring to is when an admin should be talking to the player and explaining that they should be communicating before shooting with a "Hey Person, ID those bodies" or something similiar so that you may respond that you're being shot at and you will ID the bodies, etc. As stated in the rules here:

It usually will only be handled by admins if the admin directly witnesses someone not actually communicating and just shooting instantly. However, if you walk over a body/away from a body, then you're going to get killed and there's nothing an admin can/will do about it.

I hope that clarifies the situation for you. (Report it to admins so they can better explain/teach people who aren't communicating properly)

Not gonna lie but if someone shoots at you, you are obligated to shoot at them back. So if an inno turns around the corner and starts blasting you for not iding, then you can just shoot him back.

Imagine if we had to look at every single time this happens, it'd be very difficult;t to definitively administrate this; as unless we physically see it, we'd have no way of telling who is right or wrong. It's already a bit of a challenge to determine things in those scenarios with the current rules.

Changing the rules in the way you specify would be impractical and would probably only change 1 in 20 scenarios where the rule might apply.
It's not perfect, but I think the way the rule is as it is right now is fine, and the best solution to the problem, as it is more clear-cut. It sucks for those slim cases, but that's what admins are there for, and we can use a little bit of our own common sense to administrate those edge-cases.
In addition, they are supposed to give you time to ID the body, if they are not, which it sounds like is the case in those scenarios you described, then we can also administrate that.

Kuantum and EchoFX also brought up really good points.

In summary, -1. Rule should stay as is.

After hearing feedback from others, we have decided that this is not something we are currently looking to change. The current stance on this applies to most situations and we feel that changing this would make it harder for admins to handle these situations, along with causing a sense of hesitation and uncertainty in situations that normally would be a clear traitorous act. Thanks for the suggestion~
