Society does not care about you until you die. When you do die, everyone comes together and remembers you, and ultimately forgets you. 4 people from my high school all committed suicide in different circumstances. There was multiple days where everyone was sad, but everything went back to normal. I mean I am not saying people should wallow in their sadness, but it kinda sucks that people can be forgotten so easily. One song that kinda articulates suicide and how society portrays it is Neon Gravestones by Twenty One Pilots. I'm sure
@ghost knows what I mean. It's deeper than a song. It's profound. Although we are depressed, none of us should choose suicide over life, even if it's glorified as a way to be remembered.
