Imagine wasting & giving up on perfectly good food just because it's "different". I usually open the loaf of bread and immediately eat the first piece with nothing on it, and then make a sandwich or something

I like to use the end pieces for sandwiches or burgers. Something about the pliability and texture is enjoyable to eat. Plus, I hate the idea of wasting food. Unless it's canned peas and canned beets. Those go in the trash.
