I usually only make sandwiches with them if its the last piece, otherwise I freeze them with more and eventually make bread pudding with them. Very good.

Well! No. I do not like it and that is why I just leave it. Sometimes I just store those pieces and then make breadcrumbs. I do not like to waste my food anyway that is why I always try to solve them and to have them in some of my dishes. If you also do not like it then store it for later use just like me to have good breadcrumbs. I hope you will consider my view about these last lines of the bread.
