Contest Ban Link at Top of forum

We should consider a Contest Ban Link at Top of forum.

Looks like ppl don't scroll that far very often.

I mean I honestly see it as pretty straight-forward.... But I do see the bans being posted in the wrong areas and incorrectly all the time too... I mean to me its unsightly, but you might be right; it might be the only flipping way people actually do it right.

Maybe a week ago someone said they didn’t even know what contest meant. Probably still get lost.

I think the only reason why it is not at the top is because the top is supposed to be what EdgeGamers is. It is possible we do not want to be seen as people who constantly ban and force people to contest. This is just Devil's advocate.

I find it unsightly that we have to put it there, but really there really isn't much better a solution

i bet even moving it theres still gonna be people posting in the wrong sections and making posts asking about it as well LMAO
but even with that, hopefully itll reduce the amount of people putting it in the wrong section and save the effort of having to redirect people to making a second post, and stop people from posting it in the bugs forum too lmao.

If people STILL manage to eff up a simple procedure when the link for it is up top, then really it should just be categorically denied. If we do this it is probably the only thing we can do to actually solve the problem, so at this point, they are physically trying to do it wrong.

I'm not a fan of the administrative sub-forum being at the top of the forum. Gonna be -1 from me.

It would look weird, as DeerFat pointed out and people probably still wouldn't see it. Maybe change the name from "Contest Ban" to "Appeal Ban" or something? People seem to not know that "Contest" means more than it's primary definition.

I think if we put it on top it'd be kinda wack.

HOWEVER, I am in favor of putting it on the forum navigation bar under an Administrative section. Basically we would replace the Rules button with a drop-down labelled Administrative, containing the rules, the report a player section and then the contest ban section.

Who knows but I think it's a better idea than to have the subforum at the top of the forum lol
