Why wouldn't it be available? Educate me please :geek:
Play time for a player on CS is pulled from their library, if their profile is private or their library is private, play time wouldn't be available

Ahhh.. I thought it was jailbreak hours. I think that would be pretty cool to have as well (may just be information overload at this point though). I like to factor in as much as possible when dealing with rulebreakers.

If GameME worked then that would certainly be feasible.

I agree, jailbreak times would be a wonderful piece of information, it won't be effective with gameME currently down though. Who knows how long it'll take them to patch the exploit.

Also no such thing as information overload as long as it's presented well

Version 1.2 is out, now supporting GameME Playtime statistics.
  • Added GameME integration to automatically fetch server playtimes per player
  • Improved formatting of output
  • Modified how Sonitor handles errors
    • Instead of crashing, Sonitor prints out errors and skips the line / current process

What does "0 years" mean at the bottom of Server Playtime? Is that just 0 minutes aka. VERY new?

Is gametime the amount of hours you have in CS? If so, is it possible to make that count in strictly hours and not make it go to days, months and years? I feel that would be way more informative, seeing that I for example don't know how much 1 year of playtime is, but I know exactly how much 8766 hours is.

BTW SICK WORK. YOURE INSANE

(-)0 years means that for whatever reason GameME doesn’t have stats for that player.
It is strictly server based, not CS; TTT playtime is different from JB playtime for example.

With all due respect I think being told I’ve wasted 1 month of my life is easier to understand vs 720 hours. At the point where it goes into the higher units (weeks/months) you understand that they’re somewhat of a gamer.

Ah, makes sense.

I disagree. Steam measures playtime in hours so that's what people are used to basing it off. I can say that I have 8.5k hours (holy shit help), but I have no idea what that amount would be in days/months/year(s).

Fair point. I’ll add support for limiting the units up to hours in the next update.

[I misread it, whoops]

EDIT: F*ck, you meant CS:GO. Yeah no, that's steam being shitty. Pretty sure it happens when they have less than 1 hour, or when CS:GO playtime hasn't updated yet (think their API is cached/updates in batches)

Version 1.2.1 is now out:
  • Added a config option to limit the unit that is used to display playtimes
    • eg. if set to HOURS then "48 hours" would be displayed instead of "2 days"
  • Fixed an off-by-one spacing error that was triggering underlying OCD
  • Removed erroneous "0 years" message when GameME didn't have data on a player.
sopheyy sopheyy
blank_dvth blank_dvth after re-thinking the issue, this happened when Sonitor was provided with a list of players that were online while GameME was down. Thus, GameME did not register the player as ever joining the server, resulting in queries for those players to be redirected to the search page that loaded like this one.

1.2.2 is out:
  • Fixed errors causing Sonitor to close
  • Updated GameME URL to edgegamersorg.gameme.com

1.3.1 is out:
  • Added support for gun pickup and ST role
  • Improved gunplant detection
  • Added warning message for when STs are killed off
