The Kuantum Gambit!
Master Chief? Mind telling me what you're doing on that ship? Sir, getting destroyed at Checkers by sober Anya Taylor-Joy. Welcome EdgeGamers to The Kuantum Gambit! This is a Checkers tournament hosted by yours truly,
kuantum
, to complete off last year's Chess tournament. This will be hosted in a similar fashion to the Chess Tournament in that it will be community-wide! There will be a public bracket after signups are closed and dates are finalized! This will be hosted in the EdgeGamers Discord Server via Checkers in the Park! PRIZES
1st Place: $20 Amazon Gift Card, MS Event Winner, and MS Event Award
2nd Place: One Month of Dedicated Supporter, MS Event Winner, and MS Event Award
3rd and 4th Place: MS Event Winner and MS Event Award
Everyone Else: MS Event Award
RULES
- The EdgeGamers Code of Conduct will be enforced.
- AutoJump (Forced Jumps) is enabled. Per the American Checkers Federation's official rulebook, Section 1.20 states: "All capturing moves are compulsory, whether offered actively or passively". This is default and will be enabled.
- All matches will go until one player wins or until 15 minutes have passed. If there is a tie, a quick rematch game (8 minutes) will be played to determine the winner.
