If a Detective shoots you for no reason, can you kill them in self defense? People always rdm and some use their role to just rdm and not get killed. So can I Kill a detective that shoots me for no reason. Another question, If a detective calls KOS on a inno, and I kill that inno then that detective kills me, is that RDM? They did call kos on that inno and i followed the Detective kos.

From what I understand a detective can be warned/kicked/banned for abusing the role to RDM, unless he has sus to do so. If an inno shoots you based on detective word, and the detective had no sus, then the detective is the RDMer.

Detective rules for reference:

1. Must be actively pursuing the round and may not camp/delay.
2. May not present a player as a traitor without a valid reason (see traitorous behaviors below).
3. May not kill a player for disobeying orders.
4. Need 1 DNA scan on a dead innocent body or detective body before calling a Kill on Sight (KOS) on a player.
5. May call KOS on players were seen committing a traitorous act (Running over unID'd bodies situationally, buying traitor weapon in their sight, placing a death station in their sight, etc.).

What if The Detective shoots me for no reason? Can i shoot back or am i forced to let it happen. With the karma you get a message saying "You didn't loose karma because the DETECTIVE shot you first" Just like if a inno shoots me and i kill them i get a message saying "You didn't loose karma because the INNOCENT shot you first"

You probably are still going to get killed by other Person and well even if you probably have video of the detective shooting you first they are just going to get warned (If you report them (may be kick/ban if they were already warned for RDM/Careless) as they may have not see the detective shooting you and not like they will immediately think it was that

If a Detective call's kos on a inno from id scanner, I kill that kos'd person, then someone kills me, can I report that to admin chat? Or is that considered a killable reason since I killed an Innocent.

You can report them and they most likely are going to be warned for Careless RDM , its always good that if this happen you communicate why you killed then player by saying for example "He/She/They was/were KOS by detective".

yes you can kill the Detective if he shot first its self defense, but you will get killed yourself so or just let it happend and check up with admins for the reasons of why he killed you
