My hands a shakin, my hands a shakin, but I'm still shooting, and i'm still gettin headshots!

7.1 magnitude

I was in the '89 Loma Prieta (probably known as the san fransisco quake to most)
I live in Santa Cruz, CA and was in a parking lot with a friend as he started the car the same moment the quake hit. I was looking at the floor, and thought that the car was jumping cause it was going to explode or something! Totally trashed our town and was quite an experience.

I've been in a few medium-magnitude earthquakes, including yesterday's. A bunch of glass cups fell out of a cupboard yesterday, making quite a mess in the kitchen :-\

I live in Ohio and there have been two in my life (i would never believe that if I hadn't been there). One during preschool (mostly I remember argueing with the other kids wether it was He-man or Superman that moved the school) that was moderate. And one about a year ago that we barely felt but later heard on the news that it was indeed an earthquake. Had to share that because really....an earthquake in OHIO.

it dosnt count as an earthquake but in denmark the ground moved 1 millimeter because of the tsunami in Sri Lanka otherwise i've never experienced a quake

I once felt a small one, some cups fell down from my shelf ^^ It was about 8 years ago.

well i live in sweden and we dont have eartquakes here.......and that i am very thank full of.....

In Texas we are constantly getting Tornados.
I think Earthquakes would be far worse though because there is no real warning time before them. No "hide in your bathtub with a pillow over your head".

Speaking of which.... I think if you were in a tornado.........
a Pillow.... would do nothing at all to help your situation....

Nope, pretty stable in Kansas... Weather here on the other hand, not so stable.

There is no Land of Oz on the other side of the tornado D:

I clearly remember 2, once when i was about 8 and i was in bed and i felt a somewhat big one, and another one about last year i think it was a 4-5 Mag.

I'm a So. Cal kid. Seen alot of small ones, and been through a couple big ones.

I've seen a few buildings remodeled.
