Agreeing to the rules..

Hiya -

Starting Friday night, I have not been able to select Yes or No to agreeing to the rules when joining a server. I installed nothing new, didn't change any drivers, etc. After the timer runs out, I get kicked from the server. I uninstalled/reinstalled with no effect on it. Anyone have a clue?

I'm going to leave this up, but only as a monument to the sheer idiocy required for me to not notice it changed from 1-2 to 8-9.

Yes. FYI to everyone, there has been a plugin change to make it easier on people entering the server. for those of you who have made it into a reflex to hit one immediately, don't.

The logic is that some people would ignore it, and when they go to switch to their second weapon (medi-gun, for instance) they get kicked for apparently no reason. Switching to 8 and 9 just makes better sense, no?

I'm so glad it changed from 8/9 instead of 1/2 I was constantly pressing 2 on accident out of habit trying to pull out my secondary.... which i'm sure several others did too hence the change

i actually got kicked 5 times n a row becuase i did not notice it changed.. then when i did i got kick some more cause i kept hitting 9 not 8 ERR, how not smart can i be

FYI the new system seems to be bugged, twice now on both Turbine and Goldrush I logged in and didn't even get the popup, and the server said I had hit No.

it's only pubs and e's that have to agree pimp. eGs and up are verified... through maul? I'm not entirely sure how that whole verification system works, but it does.
