Are they worth going to?

Rate the admin school from 0-10

0, being non-informational, 10 being very informational.

10. All the way.

8 from me, defineitely informational. I only went once, the rest I've learned from watching other admins, otherwise I would give it a 10.

It's kind of like I've heard military basic training described: it teaches you some, but you won't learn everything until you're in the field

[The Real McCoy]

10. Its really nice to have someone experienced there teaching you everything

cant wait to have the oportunity to go. been admin'ing for years but you learn something new everyday

[koolaid]

im just an e but i attended one and it was very helpful 10

My admin class covered just about everything there is to know, but I just can't retain all of it. The commands printed out help very much. The admin classes are more like a class on how to use admin, rather than trying to cram it all in and make it stay.

10 all the way.

[Mediarocker]

10 all the way

[Nero]

Can I vote 11? No? 10 then.

[Blue Stealth]

I would rate it about a 4 because the common sense and behavior part of it comes naturally as I see myself maintaining a certain level of maturity. On the other hand, the commands in console for binding, adding reasons for a kick, etc are extremely helpful.

All in all even if you think you know it all you should still go, you will learn something new if not many things. Besides, its a great way to meet people and ask questions.

Phenominal. I'm not en eG, but I've had to help out a few admins remember the codes and whatnot.

Ninjafluff did a great job for me... I'd say a solid 10. Went over all the commands and when they should be used. Very happy to have gone through it.

[Manana]

9- The only reason that they lost a point was because the Admins 101 has some of the information that you learn

Also, yes, Ninjafluff was a great instructor...even when I started hitting him with my bat : /

I give it a 10. Only been to 1, with Tiddy. He did a great job, and the class was very informative. I would like to try and join one with another instructor when 1 is available at a time when I can make it. Just as a refresher, and see another instructors point of view.

[Bruce*Lee]

im willing to take the class but it not gonna start yet for css >__<

[The Big Herm]

I give it a 10 peicemaker hosted mine and did a great job. This is a great way to learn what you need to know, or brush up on things. It was a refresher for me and I still learned a thing or two.
