L4D Division?

I haven't played this game, but heard much ado about it. I voted no only because I wasn't sure if that meant servers or just a forums division/tags whatnot.

Its not a game that we can all play and enjoy on a server together as a clan , only 8 people in a game at a time is not a community wide thing , I say no

With the current system for servers it'd be a bit impossible to have total control over any servers we would have. Most private server owners shut theirs down due to this, even some cases of start in versus mode, have a level change and they aren't on their server anymore. Not to mention theres no real server lobby, no good way to advertise in the server. The whole community part of L4D is lacking.
I'd say its a great game, and promote it, but until the community gets raised up a bit I'd say hold off on investing too much.

I'd come back to eGO if we got a L4D division.

As others have said, we don't need servers necessarily, but a forum and vent channel, etc would be nice.

I second this, it's only 4v4, per server, correct?

How can host multiple games on one server (up to 20 I think). That's why it'll raise our server bill $400.

a single dedicated server box can host 20-40 servers of l4d, each server capable of 4v4. but you can also do single 4v4 servers that are $18 per server to "test the waters" if we so choose.

Wuld be nice to have forum wise, but eveyone is right. The way the online system is made up it would be a waste of time and resources in making a server. I use hamachi to play it so i know who im playing with. If anyone is wandering what hamachi is, it is a virtual lan platform. Its pretty kool actually and got plenty of left 4 dead servers. Idea: Ego Hamachi server for l4d.

Division yes,but servers no,its better to make a forum where all our players can talk about the game,and meet and so on,but making servers would be pretty pointless

Well, I'd say that having L4D servers would be pointless since it's only 4v4 at the most.

That makes no sense


We can only do roadtrip events and we already have a place in the forums for l4D. If we dont have a division or servers, why would we need more space? We already have a section that is handling the l4d traffic fine.

please don't waste server funds towards it i have l4d but it gets old same thing over and over again and not really worth it theres only like 5 different monsters zombie tank boomer hunter and witch and smoker and not many guns
