well i just reinstalled the old version before the update came out and i still can play on the maps
so if u have linux just go back to the older version and you will be ok untill they can update the OS with steam.

You know, they could completely pull the plug on DoDs and just completely cease to work on it. Or you guys could be patient and appreciate what Valve has given us, even if they do make a boo boo now and then.

It's not like they're doing it out of the kindness of their hearts. They're still making money on the game. Further, making an error like this, that takes down the entire game for days, without rolling back the patch (or having a backout, as they say), is pretty poor.

I thought the small pictures that come up were kind of a dumb idea. Would take you forever to look through all the servers.
