What is your favorite INS weapon, and why?

Ugh that scrim with the CSS dvision, i would have loved to use the RPG for the majority of the scrim, but noooo had to settle with the m203 :(
 
I tried using the M203 on the server but I can't master it, sucks that if you shoot a wal at close range the round will just bounce off the wall.

Remember, for the M203 the top sight level is for close range, the bottom is for long range.

I know I use it just for mowing people down, and sometimes for suppressing fire... is there more ways to use the SAW as well as the RPK?

Yeah, you got to remember that the 203 will only detonate if it has flown a certain distance.

Umm... I like the power of intimidation that whenever your in KarKar everyone is like "OMG Will someone take out that damn SAW!!" Then the amount of ammo is really nice with suppressing fire, great camping gun... I don't know the only bad part I see is that it decreases your agility. :laugh:

*When in KarKar I just think of the SAW as extreme bubble wrap that is out to kill you... just pop that foo! :closedeyes::laugh::)
 
I ust to lay down supressive fire on the windows in the main A building in Karkar, there are always sniper hiding in the shadows, lucky for us we can shoot through the walls.

the real m203's 40mm grenade warhead has an arming procedure that must first be fulfilled before detonation. It's a little ring which must make one full rotation, after which, the warhead is armed. Most US warheads are built this way because misfires happen more often that one would think in the field. I'm pretty sure Tomahawks and TOWs have to complete warhead activation cycles also, although they are probably a bit more complex then that of the m203's

Looks like they sort of recreated that in INS.

On the note of weapons, I'd like to say I would much prefer to have an RPD over the RPK.

My favorite weapon is the m16. It has a 3round burst which is more than enough to kill anything that moves, and if you click fast enough it rivals the m4's full auto. Plus, it has a fraction of the m4's kick.

I'm a fan of the SAW when it's used right. Drives me crazy to see SAW gunners moving around and advancing like riflemen. Whenever I get the SAW I know I won't get the kills I might with another class but the whole idea is you're part of a team. My goal with the SAW is continual fire. If my teammates can't hear me, I'm not doing my job.

Or you're dead. Which means you did your job too well.
 
Well, I'm from over in the CS:S division, so you guys probably won't care for my opinion too much. However, I did really like the shotgun :), am i right? Is that a good one for rushing? ..I found It to be nice....

Been using the sks a lot lately on the INS side, that gun rocks my socks.

Meh, it's a mediocre excuse for a replacement of shotgun or sniper. In close combat it handles the same as a shotty without the spread, so if you can't get sapper/engineer you can use SKS and run around like an idiot. Or you can snipe without a real scope with better accuracy than an AK-47 but not as good as the snipers. I only use it when practicing accuracy and I've since replaced it with the pistol.
