i swear i dont wanna see the same old arguing , everyone has a good card , just depends on the day of week , i just am polling for eGO in general.

Yeah there both good and the vote is more from your experience with each type of card. Im more partial to Nvidia, but Ati is also very good.

Nvidia hands down, I've got two 7900GT's in sli and i'm loving it!

Better my old card i got AGP. Radeon HD 3850

Very sad when it wouldn't for my system..

Nvidia 285

I'm running the 285..:) Did the step up through EVGA from the 260 core 216. Stupid name, smoking card. Like the 285... Bang for Bucks you cant beat the 260 216.

Nvidia. Despite their policy of renaming and re-releasing old cards, overpricing products - I wouldn't have it any other way.

Nvidia is what im currently using b/c its onboard and my new pc dont have any agp slots for me to put my awesome ati x700 pro (it was awesome when i bought it 2 years ago :P )

ATI technologies are better for 4xAA or better when gaming, nvidia cards lack the processing power in those situations, the 4870x2 on crysis 2560X1600 over 4xAA gets better FPS than the GTX295 from nvidia, i'll alwyas use AMD and ATI, best performance for the price.

once again lets not start fighting , im just polling here , nothing more nothing less , i know your dad can beatup my dad , and so on /.

pffft you people with your expensive cards...
im running a freakin 8600 GT 512MB OC that i bought from staples, marked down from 139.99 to 79.99 with a $40 mail in rebate. so i paid 40 bucks for this card and i run the games i have great. source is currently at 1024x768 50-70 fps with everything high/full, but no AA/AF
only bad thing i'd say about this cheap bang for your buck is it CANNOT handle widescreen. as soon as you make anything widescreen it blips down to like 25 frames, so i play everything on window mode haha

never tried ATI but i can tell you my next upgrade will be Nvidia

Nvidia, tends to perform better and also it is more out of the box compatible with Linux

I'm running an 8800gt she will clock 702 linked with my shader and 1000 on the memory :)

I would like ot run a 4850 though

most of the recent nvidia cards that came out is just a bit of a improvement of the 8's, ati the way to go for now i would say. but i just recently bought a 8800, so ill go ati next XD
