Poor Teams on Avalanche Recently?

Has anybody else here had the problem of incredibly poor teams on Avalanche this week? Of the past four times I have joined the game, I joined the Allies 3 times and the Germans once, and each time, the majority of my fellow teammates played as though they had no idea how to move forward.

I even thought it was a free weekend I didn't hear about on Sunday, but last night was probably the worst overall German team I have ever played on, to the point of simply refusing to advance past our first flag.

(I will give credit where it is due, however, and so I do have to say that (IO) SA and his fellow Allied MG did one of the best shutdown jobs I have ever seen on us last night. Of course, I'm sure that a team of eGO guys working together well could have handled that admirably )

Anyway, am I the only one who has noticed this lately? I'm just curious to see whether it's just related to when I join (about 10:30-11:00PM EST) or just a pure coincidence.

stop playing the same time as me on the opposite team? haha j/k and ty for the compliment ... i cant say the team disparity has rly been any better or worse lately ... eGO guys do a much better job than a lot of the other servers about trying to switch teams and balance things ... b/c it wasn't like Axis was down 2-3 guys that whole time (at least last night) i think it was just some unlucky recent teammates that you've had dude =/

I thought I played quite well =P....but yea I have noticed the same thing. I can't stand it when the MG stays back at the first flag for the whole game.

its not ava only but flash too. the last two nights me and duality cant seem to get past our second and take mid. Kalt is the same way sometimes. it does suck but its mostly a lot of new players are playing with us lately that i noticed. Let them get the hang of where they have to go and all will be good.

Well depends on how many of them are new to the game or even the weapon itself.
So sometimes one team ends up with alot of newbies who are just starting out. And makes it really tough to do anything, and you end up getting dominated.
The only thing I can see is help them out, and hopefully they listen. Later on you will find it easier and more gratifing when you're newbie team starts kicking butt

well perhaps you should game with the intent of having FUN and not just winning, its also kinda like poker, you have to do the best with the cards u r dealt and help the rest of your team mates have fun and become better players too.

it all depends, when there are e, eG, eGO playing its usually more competative and objectives are more crucial, with pubbers most of the time its about getting their scores up

Absolutely, you have to work with what you have. It can just get so frustrating when people won't stop camping your final flag, causing you to get killed instantly every time you try to advance past the team's defensive line.

I don't really play for my score; I'd rather have a ton of caps than a truckload of kills (although a lot of kills is nice). The game just tends to stop "being fun" when you can't get halfway across the Axis bridge because of the sniper, rocket, and MG all trained on it. I'm not super-competitive, honestly; I'm here to have a good time and have fun. Winning is nice, but I'd rather suicide-bomb the MG covering my main exit from the spawn

It has been pretty sloppy the last few times i have been on, but nothing to out of the ordinary for ava.

You know I've noticed this not just on avalanche but on a lot of our servers in the past few days, but mainly it's when there is no one from the clan on. There has been a rampant run of cursing when the eG's and eGO's aren't on as well, we all do our best to correct it but unfortunately since we are only e's we don't really have much we can do about it. I've started keeping pen and paper near by for those people who get really abusive or stupid so I can jot the names down. It just seems as though there are a lot of public players on lately and a lack of clan members. I'm sure it'll even it's self out.

i thought it seemed we gots new players but that is what eGO is about having new players and teaching them the name of the game. i know i get killed alot and lose points but i still have fun most of the time lol. XD
and well i try to get my team on pubbers moralized but it usually never works lol they just like them kill points no flag caps

Funny you should say that, because once I realized I was absolute trash at killing people, I just started concentrating on flag caps. The flags don't shoot back after all.

I've noticed that when I play with eGO peeps it is definitely a game changer, as good communication leads to victory. I've learned quite a bit in my first week of DoD due to the teamsmanship of many eGO players.

Thanks to all those who have taken it on the chin by teaming up with the new players.

Funny you should say that, because once I realized I was absolute trash at killing people, I just started concentrating on flag caps. The flags don't shoot back after all.

I've noticed that when I play with eGO peeps it is definitely a game changer, as good communication leads to victory. I've learned quite a bit in my first week of DoD due to the teamsmanship of many eGO players.

Exactly, eGO keeps us together as a team, it's hard sometimes when you run across people who aren't a part of the clan, they want NOTHING to do with teamwork. I know how you feel btw I've been playing for a little over a week too and I appreciate people helping me out as well. I'm just saying the past few days those people who have no interest in working as a team have been outnumbering those who do want to.

I just recently got comfortable enough with the game after about 3 days to really start playing tactically and know where i'm going all the time.

But about the swearing... I have noticed it is actually really bad when there aren't any eG's or higher online. Especially bad when the one admin on that has been taking care of issues leaves. Not really much we can do other than ignore them and try to continue playing, but it just makes the servers look a little rough to new players to our servers. Fortunately most of the time this has been happening is around 5-7 AM eastern time when i've been on. The rest of the time there is generally an admin around from what i've seen.

Yeah that's been my big issue lately especially what you said about when the reigning admin leaves and there isn't anymore on. I generally tell them we don't allow cursing and to watch their language please. Sometimes it helps sometimes it doesn't but at least I can say I let them know, and again if they get too rude and vulgar I'm gonna start taking down names.

well have a admin on your steam friends list and if they dont listen and no eG or eGO's are in pm 1 i am sure they will come ingame and fix the situation, since we like to keep the servers language clean for the mature audience only
