Ok, they're not really pressing... I'm just :facewall:.

1. Why can't people stand still during setup and let medics build their ubers? I understand running to a point - ie, not just standing in spawn, but after that? There's only 2-3 gates that the team can come out of, do you really see something that says "Oh, this is a bad spot this time, need to try something else, and then something else, and then something else... all in 15 seconds"?

2. Why do (most) people run out and die when a medic is trying to heal you? Do you want us (medic) to run out and die with you? That doesn't really help the team. I see this all the time and it drives me nuts. If you're going to suicide rush, at least let me get you to 100% health - it'll take 3 more seconds, and usually those few seconds won't make or break a game - just let you stay alive longer cause you'll be at full health.

Again, not pressing issues, just :chair: --- --- , etc.

PS > Possible casino cash for good answers!

Ive seen alot worse things done in tfc as a medic , especailly since the medic doesnt have a medi gun to heal you with at a safe distance .in tfc if hthe person you are healing runs right up to a grenade your both pretty much screwed .

1. I blame a global pandemic of ADHD

2. Sometimes people overestimate their capabilities or there is a fairly large threat around the corner i.e a heavy medic near uber

Your #1 is inaccurate. I have ADHD and I don't do any of that crap. Now, if something shiny flies by, God help whoever is healing me.

To add to this list of peaves, which i'm assuming this is: I really hate it when medics build up an uber on you and then they run off and uber someone else. If you're not going to uber me, don't freakin' charge it up on me. I will not help you later on for such deceitful activity.

This doesnt bother me one bit. If fact i like healing people that go into the action. It actually builds up ubers faster. All you have to do is just not follow whoever it is into the fray. Its that simple.

^ I agree with everything MrCool says
What bothers me are people who yell for medic, start to be healed and then run to a dispenser or health pack... that further slows the uber process...DUMPKOFFS!

Mister Adam I know what you mean, I injured myself so a medic could get an uber quicker and when he got it he just ran away and ubered someone else... What the dilly?

Are you talking about during setup or in game? I rarely stay on any one player in either situation.

This is the single thing that has improved my game the most. Knowing when to retreat has ramped up my Kill/Death Ratio a lot. Many people come from single hit/few hit kill games like CSS, COD4 and not HP based games like TF2, so its strange mastering the "retreat" skill.

During setup where there are grates to see through, I run to them all and check out how the enemy has set up outside. When I can I relay that info to my team.

Sometimes they listen, sometimes they don't.

After I've checked them out, I pick the most enemy populated grate and taunt from the inside... at least until a few seconds before the round begins. Then I run to the least camped grate and exit.

So yes, I do run around a bit when there's a reason to.

On maps where you can't look out, I pretty much just sit there.

no offence to medics out there, but frankly. I hate them. Not for anything personal it's just I can get 5:1 k/d/r or higher without medics but die as soon as I get one on me =/
