Should the Sniper Server have its own point system?

Should sniper server have its own point system?

As I recal there is a lot of complaining with the new sniper server!:cursing: "man all my points are lost", "I'm out, they are taking all my points":facewall: lol..

:glare: So Kendle has brought up a new idea! Let the Sniper Server have its own point system(you cannot look at these points online, only when you are in the server and type Rank, Stats.etc) And he told us to talk about this new proposal,and he might consider it!

I havn't been in the sniper server yet, but if duality is in there I'm screwed.


I'm one for this. Its already hard enough to keep into the 1.1k range for rank in pubs as it is.
 
Either way is fine with me, I never worry about points, and never will.
Not saying its a bad thing either way, it's just how I ROOOOLLLL lol

So if it makes more peeps join the server I am with the change.

i say take it out...cause its easy to get many points on that server..well for me

kinda stat padding don't you think?
 
i could care less about my points, but i think the server would be more popular if it was taken out.
 
a whole new pts system would not only allow pubs to come in and earn points but it would give some of the established members something new to work on as well
 
So is this a new point system and it doesnt show up on any other servers? If so then I would say yes to a new point system, because I really care about points. It is true that many people lose 1,000 something points in only a few hours (yes I am one of them). Anywho yes I would go with a new points system.
 
The point is, if you are that concerned about the points that you loose when you play on the sniper server, you take this game WAY too seriously. It is a game, we play it because its fun and we enjoy the company of our fellow eGO members and our frequent pubs. So again, Caring about points = No sense of Enjoyment
 
Taking out the point system would be better for that server, less anger lol :laugh:
But yeah, it is basically a casino in there and most will lose their luck.

And I love that old post from kendle, maybe I should sticky it. hmm....

You guys would get so much enjoyment out of running around on mario_air no scoping while falling, like I do, if you didnt worry about your points so much. The HLStats system actually attracts more players than it detracts and its more for admin use than anything really.
 
leave the point system, since the map is part of ego servers points should be same one all of them, i lose lot of points but thats part of the game

I think you all have to realize that some play for FUN period others play for FUN and points which to them is their fun. So how about we keep the negative comments away and deal with the issue of the point system itself.

I think I said this on another thread. If you care about losing your points we have other =eGO= servers where the players are at the same caliber as you, so you don't end up losing so many. As for the Sniper server it is new so we are going to get new players coming into the server some with very few points. But are good enough to snipe you at times, and you end up losing alot of points.

If we go with the new point status system I am ok with it, but it's too bad we have to go that route and change our Sniper server and have it different from all the rest.

How about we let the big wigs sort it out, and see what happens. Then you can make your decision, and begin losing points to TAZ when he kills you with his SHOVEL ;)

Personally i think the sniper server should have its own points system because it will allow everyone to start at the same level and work your way up
 
i just like running around the server trying to stab ppl yet it rarely works for me lol.

and tbh a sniper server isnt like any other server, so to be totally honest it shouldnt be connected to the other servers point system technically. but that's my opinion :)

but i will roll with whatever happens :)
