yay delete stats...love this option. HATS im just logging on, what is this HATS thing I keep hearing about...sigh im barely loading the update.

I just realized something, what are these "hats" going to do to the usefullness of the spys disguise...
Im cloaked 80% of the time, but still if they don't unlocks out or a hat on, might as well spy check em?

I personally have a theroy about this... the spy does not have his new stuff, I think when he does get the new stuff when he does disguse it will be holding what ever the new stuff for that class is, in the disguse, and if that is true and he too gets something for his head then, maybe it won't change much once it gets there... of course this is hopefull thinking.
Probably just ends up wearing whatever the person he's disguised as is wearing.

Just for a heads up, if you are going to use the stats reset be aware that this will reset all of your achievement progress back to zero. I learned this the hard way by having my "A year to Remember" and "Kollectivization" dragged back down to zero, so now I have to start all over.
I'm calling it right now: Sniper update day of release (or maybe a few days before) and we get a message on teamfortress.com saying that it was really the spy update all along, he was just disguised as the sniper. Tah-dah!

Errrr...im so lost, what in the name of heaven and hell are the Hats that everyone is talking about here and what are their purpose?? Please someone have mercy on me and tell me about them and how does one get them?

You can't get any hats yet.
It is likely there will be multiple hats for each class, each hat gives you some small boost like 2% movement speed
Press M while in game to see the hat slot for each class. If you press back and go to the main loadout screen with all the character you can click the bag and see your backpack.
WHILE IN THE BACKPACK DO NOT DELETE ANY ITEMS, YOU CANNOT GET THEM BACK.

Im actually upset by the stats reset, people who farmed for eq get to erase the blemish caused by their forrays into achievement servers while i, who worked my ass off for everything i have, have had totally legit stats and unlocks from the start, now everyones stats are going to look like mine, while they (in my eyes) cheated to get unlocks.

In the end who really cares about the stats anyways lol. If the day ever comes when i care more about the stats then playing the game i want one between the eyes. Props on igniting an enemy spy while they flick their cig without help i thought that one was impossible without it being set up.

Clever haha... yeah we all know that has to be setup. Took me 2 tries to get it right even with it setup. :thumbup1:
