hey guys, wow, i really cant believe it has been one year since i joined, really, i thought it was another 2 months or so, but omg i have been an eGO member for a year now. that is really surprising, time just slips by.
anyway, i want to discuss the point about our jail severs and other things. recently it has come to my attention that some eGO members have been acting up lately.
first and foremost, the lag. yes some maps lag and yes its annoying, but please do not spam lag in chat, especially eGO members. it makes us look bad and it also doesn't really help with the lag. so please, just do not spam lag during the lag intervals. we get it only when its close to a full sever, a full house, or some of the maps. mainly because there are so many people on. again, please do not spam lag.
moving on, there has also been members who have been questioning admins decisions on what they do. yes you may have a problem with their judgment, but absolutely never fight with the admin about them in public. it is not mature and very disrespectful to us admins. if the decision of the admin is questionable, i and my fellow admins would question them about it. i do not know how many of you know, but we admins DO have a separate chat system in which we can communicate with each other with.
and if some of you do not know, you can send us messages, by first pressing the team chat button which is usually the keyboard letter u. after that you have to press the shift button and then the number 2 on the top, which will then turn into this symbol @. (ex: press team chat button u @message to admins here. ) and we will receive the message.
now, we admins talk to our fellow admins about a certain person before we kick/ban. we NEVER kick/ban without it being discussed. we never kick/ban without reason, and we will always stay that way. so please, if you want to question our decisions, do not do so in public, ask the admin to go into vent or invite him to chat, simple as that.
next on the list, when you are killed in jail, do not spam freekill. many people do this, not the pubbers, but eGO members. now let me clear this up, yes sometimes it is a freekill and we admins sometimes miss it, so i am sorry about that. but, most of the time it would most likely have been crossfire. telling us about freekill is welcomed, so we can keep an eye on whoever is doing it, but if you are spamming in all chat AND to us in admin chat, it annoys us and makes our job more complex.
we admins have to keep an eye on the severs AT ALL TIMES. the severs fill up to 30 - 40 people everyday. now, there is usually about 2 to 4 eG's on and about 1 to 3 eGO's on. now that would make up about 7 or 8 admins on the jail severs. divide that up and there is 5 people for one admin to watch, ON AVERAGE. and that is only a quick count, usually there is not even close to 5 admins on.
so PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT SPAM COMPLAINTS OVER AND OVER AGAIN. once is enough, we have at least 2 admins ALWAYS watching chat, so once or twice is enough, not 10 times, not 50 times. we have to to keep an eye on all of you and that is very hard considering jail is always hectic. don't complain about stuff that is not done quickly, we need time to look over everything. we admins are not gods, we cannot oversee everything that is happening on the severs. i didn't even mention people from other divisions that private message me over a DIFFERENT game asking for an admin for help.
many of you have never had admin, you don't know what it is like having to listen to everyone. you think if you have admin you can kick so and so, or ban so and so. that is not the case, when you guys get admin you will fully understand that having it is a responsibility that you should not take lightly.

we admins care very much about you guys and try to do our best to keep you happy.
i always try to set jail straight and have one ct talking at a time, i try to keep the teams even, and i always watch for freekillers. numerous times i have stopped playing and gone to spec to get rule breakers and the people who come in just to freekill and then leave again. i always try catch them because they might come back in under a different name and i always check each and every single player id to see who it was. in Syntax where there is a cap limit, when i see people in spec saying they cant get in, i ALWAYS open up my space and let a spec take it. i also move people around to try and get all specs into the game. i myself sit out and watch you all play.
now please do not dare tell me that we admins do not care. we care about every little thing. but you have to understand we are human and we do miss things. this is throughout all divisions, not just in counter strike source. i respect each and every player along with all the other admins, and i would expect you guys to show it back.
all i am asking
is to not question your admins in public, respect them.
do not spam freekill or anything else
and give us time to go through everything.
i do not think that is much to ask for, and it seems like many of you take us admins for granted.

Gah I can't imagine what it's like to be an admin... must be pretty stressful sometimes. Seriously.
