As soon as you see that you didnt get the kill you'll know the spy is still alive lol
You guys are assuming you WON'T see that...it would be very easy to show just the "killing" player the kill credit, though it wouldn't appear for anyone else and it would also not be logged in the server statistics/points. Without that, it would be very very very much less useful, so that leads me to believe Valve will include this feature with the watch.
Remember, just 'cause they gave you a teaser of info doesn't mean every little thing you hear or assumption you make is fact or the only possible way things can be. There's just a lot of if's.
Another thing I read in this thread was that the whole cloak and dagger watch recharges when you're sitting still. People assume you run and run and run while cloaked, stand still for a bit, you're at full, and then run and run and run, never NOT being invisible. For balance reasons, when I read this, I assumed that was one of two possible ways to do it, but I figured that (again, for balance) the way it would actually be implemented would be like this: You run, your cloak drains. You stand while cloaked, your cloak "recharges" at the same rate it's drained, so it stays exactly as full as it was when you stopped moving. When you UNCLOAK and stand still, you actually get positive cloak meter recharging, not just breaking even.
But again, those are just two possible ways. Doesn't mean it's going to be this way. You always have to keep the objectives of the developer and game balance in mind when speculating, otherwise you're just talkin' out your hiney.

i think too many people would have been angry at valve, though, and there would have been a lot of grumpy players.
