vent+game how do you do it?

I was just wondering how some of you guys juggle vent and game?
When I used to use just vent, it was obviously fine
When I first joined eGO and only used in-game, it was fine
But I see some people who are able to use both, and I just don't understand how you guys do it!?!?

Geez trying to listen to both just gives me a headache, plus in-game always seems to drownout vent.


So how do you manage in-game/vent...?

im like you. i can only handle one at a time. if i'm playing and have vent running, then i just cant focus/hear in game.

i usually mute vent if im playing in game. and during events all talk is usually on anyway

I can multitask O_O.

I have my in-game mic set to my Back button on my mouse, aka, MOUSE4.
My vent mic is set to my Forward button on my mouse, aka, MOUSE5.

Two screens so I can see who's talking in vent.

Works great.

statistics say that multitasking can make you dumber. boy am i gonna be dumb

I always ask who is in Vent with me, try to fix the voice to the name, If its just a handfull of guys in vent its not hard. volumes are matched by reducing game volume somewhat. I see no voice bar in Dod, must be vent chatting me up.

I have the exact same thing.

On top of that, I bound Page Down to mute/unmute vent, so I can easily talk in-game or in Vent.

I just barley talk in-game at all.... i turn ingame down pretty low and i just use vent so remember best way to talk to me is through vent or steam but preferably vent

Yeah, if no ones talking in game I can deal with vent but oh my, it was hectic at the start of the event when alltalk is on, so both teams are talking plus people in vent are getting geared up sorting out the event.

My mouse binds are the same as hoodies. Plus the volume is about the same for both. So, I can either tune out someone in game and listen to vent, or do the opposite with no problem

Should mute vent when you are going to play seriously and you don't want to die.
