also on the aspect of realism.
Teleporters.
Fake dying watches.
Throwing pee jars (I mean, how socially unacceptable can you be?)
Bases built right next to each other.
Intelligence on a desk in the open, not in an air tight safe.
Bomb carts.
Colour coordinated clothes, I mean who'd do that?
Ubercharge, invincible.
I can go on
Teleporters: How is it my insurance company can have a piece of paper in their office, then they put it in a machine, it makes some noises and phone dial-y sounds, then poof, it prints out my fax machine? "That's faxing!" you say...NO! It's teleportation!
Fake dying watches: Pff, I can feign death without a watch. Here, observe:
...had you going there didn't I? So the fact that the spy needs a watch to do it is an example of LOWER technology in TF2, not higher.
Throwing pee in jars: Ever been a long road trip when you were little, and your dad just stopped to let your sister pee, but now you have to? He said "Go in your soda bottle, we're not stopping again!" and then I said "But dad it's an emergency!" and he said "Well, s3rv0 (yeah, my dad called me by my screen name, doesn't yours?), either do it or hold it, it's up to you, we're not stopping." So I did it, and threw it out the window. I don't see how Jarate is any different.
Building bases close together: Hey, define base! My neighbor's base is right next to mine. "That's his house!" you say, but he spawns there every morning, goes out and accomplishes whatever objectives he has, then returns to resupply and heal up. Sounds like a base to me!
Intelligence out in the open: If we keep stuff locked up where it can't be gotten at all the time, how are we to use it? It has to be taken out sometimes, like in times of war, when it can be used for a significant purpose. Since RED and BLU are obviously at war, isn't this a good time to have the intel out and ready to be used?
Bomb carts:

Same colored clothing: They're called uniforms. Every national army in the free world has 'em.
Ubercharge invincibility: We all know Chuck Norris is invincible. Don't you dare say he isn't, or he'll appear behind you and roundhouse kick you into oblivion. Why is he invincible? 'cause he's a medic, that's why. He is always ubering himself, and his uber never drains, and he doesn't need a medigun. Real life invincibility.
What else you got for me?
