Hello fellow gamers:

I would like to bring up an issue myself and other eGO's have talked about. I am usually playing in Kalt, and from what I have to say is regarding (e)'s in KALT, but admins should pay attention too. I am not mad, but, I have to go out of my way from playing the server to warn (e)'s NOT TO SWEAR AND TO WATCH THEIR ATTITUDE. That is really rediculous. The (e)'s should know not to swear and watch their attitude from reading the rules of eGO. I would go out of my way to warn other people, not in eGO, to watch their language and attitude, and that doesn't bother me, but when it comes to (e)'s, it is sad. I just wanted to bring that up and to let e's, eG's. and eGO's know.

Thankyou; and again I'm not mad or threatening anyone:

United Pilot I do agree with you and it make me a bit mad to I think they should have 3 warnings a week.

I know what you're talking about. In fact, I ran into an =(e)= today on one of our servers who used the f-word in team text chat. I immediately kicked him...without warning.

We should have zero tolerance for our own clan members breaking the rules...they should know them! I could have banned him for a few hours, or a day, but since I hadn't seen any prior problems with him, I just kicked him. He came back and I told him to watch the language. I think he got the message. In fact a couple pubbers expressed appreciation that we don't have a double standard with our own clan members.

The last thing I'd like to say is that if you're a new member to the clan and haven't read our rules, it would be a good idea to do so. Edgegamers has their rules for a reason and our own members, especially, should know and follow them.

Good topic to bring up, United Pilot!

For you e's that dont know, you ARE held to a higher standard and you will be expected to act up to that standard. So dont come into the servers cursing and having a bad attitude and not expect action taken upon yourselves. This goes for all members too. If our own members cant act right in a server whats a pub supposed to expect? So not trying to pick on e's this goes for everyone.

wow do the new members of eGO not read the rules before they put on the Tag??? i thought it was mandatory lol.

Read and Understood, and I agree with 44 about the Zero Tolerance Policy

Couldn't have said it better. When you wear a tag, you represent that organization. You should wear it with pride and set the example. You may be the only representative of eGO and your actions could give this fine community a blemish.

Game with pride, game with dignity, game with respect. Set the bar and hold yourself to a higher standard. This can be said for real life too.

Exactly. EGO should be more on top of this. You guys are absolutely correct. They should have, and I doubt that a lot did, read the rules. Usually, when it comes to reading rules, I skip it too lol, but for eGO I read them thoroughly.

I have had this problem before and done exactly the same thing, kick without warning, i just do it through console so they know the reason, as an e they should know the rules before putting up the tag.

Yea, i know we have the rules on various threads, but i was thinking that we should paste the rules in applications so they read them when they are accepted instead of them not reading the stickys later.

I would always kick any e that is not following our rules, they are kept to a higher standard and if they misbehave then the pubs will think that its ok for them to do the same.

If you do see an e not following rules and swearing, its an instant kick with no warning. They should know the rules.

Oops, again sorry about this. :facewall:

I have to admit its when people get angry that they seem to swear on chat. When I get angry I tend to hit things. Maybe y'all sweary folk should try that :)

The whole "holding its own members to higher standards than everyone else" is the attitude that made me join this community two years ago and comeback after having to leave for a year and a half.
