In your opinion, list the best Role Playing Game(s) you have ever played in here.

Mine is...

Fallout 3.

Why? I've had a lot of fun with Morrowind and Oblivion but I have never had as much fun in a RPG as I did in Fallout 3. The game is by far the best game RPG out so far.

On the side note; Please refrain yourselves from arguing/flaming with other people's opinions,

Thank you :)

Do MMO's count too? My favorite RPG I guess is Final Fantasy X. But If MMO'S count also, then Cabal Online has to be my favorite.

Fallout 3 is definitely in top, Oblivion is good, Morrowind is alright, the first Sacred is awesome too(the second one was disappointing for me).

Tales of the Abyss, I really connected with that game.
Like to the point where I played it for at least an hour everyday.
After beating it.
12 times.
My PS2 controller broke from overuse because of that game.

Favorite RPG

Morrowind for me. It was the first hack and slash magic vs. monsters game that I had ever played. I loved the levitation spell and I would levitate to high places and kill everything with my powerful magic bow. It was great making spells and enchanted weapons for the first time. RPG's are still my favorite type of game.

Runners up: Deus Ex, Oblivion, Fallout 3, Thief 2, Kotor 1

Fallout 3
Diablo 2
Bard's Tale (and Bard's Tale 2)
Wizardry

All four have been favorites at some point over my 25 years of RPG playing on the computer. Now if you want to bring up non-computer RPG, well that's a different story :)

Legend of the Dragoon or Secret of Mana. Baldur's Gate was great as well.

I have trouble saying that any newer games are my favorite anything... They just don't have the same legendary feel that I get when I play the older games from the SNES/Playstation days. Like when I first played FF7 I knew it was going to be one of the most epic games of all time, I don't get that from anything since then.

I'd have to say Oblivion because of the insane multitude of community-made mods available for it. But as far as MMO's... I'd say Guild Wars.
