Best RPG Of All Time (In Your Opinion)

1. Baldur's Gate: Shadows of Ahm - (Boot, meet evil! Evil! meet my Boot! RAWR!!!!)

2. FFIV

3. My Little Pony and the Glue Factory

The Elderscrolls III: Morrowind GOTY

No other game have I played for so long, been able to come back to years after coming back. There is a TON of stuff to do. For $20, you get a few hundred hours of gameplay. If you change the kind of class you are, the game can almost completely change too.

Absolutely 100% correct. The best part is that you can also use the Construction Set to change pretty much anything within the game, which has led to a ton of awesome mods. I think at one point the Morrowind folder was up to 8GB because of all the mods we had installed on there; everything from small patches to full texture replacers. Naturally, there was a reason for the low frame rates we were getting ;)

I'm with Blackhawk and jeod66: The Elderscrolls III: Morrowind GOTY

Best RPG Ive ever played, so much to do in it!!!

-Baldur's Gate
-Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn
-Dragon Age (spiritual successor to Baldur's Gate series)

Oblivion.

The only RPG I've ever played that I've actually enjoyed.

My personal favorite? That's tough. I'd probably have to say FFVI, though. I played it for the first time last year, and I was amazed. I had played FFX before, and I was blown away, but even to this day, FFVI is better.

The magic system was easy enough to pick up, it was engaging, it had all sorts of sidequests to do, especially in the second half of the game. The characters were pretty fleshed out, and it was the first to have defining facial expressions. Although I've played it recently, I've still gotten so much out of the simple, but powerful facial responses in the game. As a whole, I'd say it's Square's 16-Bit Magnum Opus.

And on another note, Pokemon's fun too. I don't care what you say, I love my Pokemon games. :D

on computer: Sword of Shannara
on console: Star Ocean: The Second Story, with Final Fantasy 7 in a close second.

I played Star Ocean, I don't recal if it was the first or the second but it was on the PS2, and I couldn't get into it. Just way to hard.. Just like dot.Hack.
Runescape is good.
Computer : WoW, World At War, Oblivion,
PS2: Morrow wind.
Xbox: Halo 2
Xbox 360: Fall Out 3, Oblivion
PS3: Prototype was good.

Thats what I think.
Oblivion is fun for the computer, with all the cheats and mods you could do - endless possbilities for anything.
From flying 3,000 feet up, to owning your own jail mod and killing prisioners.

Also, I got a question..
I got some money to buy a new game for the computer or xbox 360.
I got CS:S and Gmod, thats it.
(Oh and CoD: 4,5 for XBOX 360)
Any suggestions?

Console: Chrono Trigger, altho FFIV, VI, Final Fantasy Tactics, and Secret of Mana were all close behind.

Computer: Oblivion, but I haven't played Fallout 3 yet. =\

Fallout 3 is a MUST play game. I'm still surprised it didn't get GOTY when it was released. (GTA IV isn't even that good -_-)

suikoden 2

Its probably the only rpg game that i ever enjoyed playing. Too bad i got stuck with the fourth boss, after that, i lost my game disc somehow somewhere :(
