I played Furnace yesterday for probably around an hour, and I just wanted to share my opinions on Furnace, the new eGO server.
At first I saw the layout, and thought of Gravelpit, and tried my classic scout Gravelpit strategy. However, as I played more, I noticed it was less and less like Gravelpit (and a lot better IMO). It seems to be less room between points, and a much better layout for defending, and a lot easier to defend than Gravelpit, but in the same aspect, a lot easier to play offense. The map really focuses less on defending with sentries, and more with miniguns and rockets.
If you haven't gone into the server to play it yet, check out 174.37.160.63:27015.
Feel free to share your comments, and a little more than "It was fun."
