I have killed someone with a smoke nade. I was allied on Flash and threw a smoke nade out of the hotel entrance and a german ran in front, and it killed him. Though, when you kill someone with a smoke nade you don't get credit for a kill, it registers as a suicide for the person killed.

Umm I don't think that is totally accurate? And our servers have record of 4 smoke grenade kills from the past 28 days alone: http://ego.hlstatsx.com/?mode=weapons&game=dods <--- All the way at the bottom of the weapon stats there are 3 US smoke nade kills and 1 German one.

it does do the same thing ... and while i've seen it done i can't claim that i've ever done it myself

(for those of you clicking this link more than a week from when this post was made it shows me getting a german smoke nade kill this week)... and like the guys said, it doesn't give a huge awesome graphic or even say "SA killed ____ with a smoke grenade." It looks like "SA made ____ suicide" lol.





and dont tell anyone but i still haven't gotten the regular german stick nade achievement :x i'm only like 10 away thoe i swear :/

ive done it a lot of times in CS:S, but never in DOD:S....I MUST DO IT!

I have killed one. I was in a non-eGO public server and I threw a smoke at a new player,I threw it at his back and he fell and died,it registered in the console as punch >.< Even the section where someone kills who and what weapon (ect,ect) it registered as punch....

Luckily for me Ive done at least 2 smoke kills for sure.... 1 i had a volunteer and the 2nd time was live action. I know it was on the old stats when u clicked on the smoke grenade for us it shows the ppl who were lucky enough to have the smoke kill.

I've nailed someone with 10 or less health with a nade, be it explosive or smoke, or folks with 15 health or less and killed them with a rocket grenade.
