Valve doesn't release information on weekends. So I wouldn't expect anything until Monday.

And also also, medals are useless and only work against you in war. The shiny buggers only make you easier to spot and make you a target for everyone else. That is why you hide any tags, labels and indications on your rank. The enemy snipers will gladly snipe the higher ranks first.

ah come on it's just a div with no content if you look at some of my pages there are tons of divs with no content or unused things in the stylesheet. most web devs re use there old layouts so there is sometimes unused stuff in the code.
