Am I using the Idle Server wrong?

It has been running for a few hours now,
Not one Item.

Am I unlucky or is there something I didn't do?

I Downloaded the thing, changed the settings and started steamstats.

Anything i'm missing? :confused1:

Are you logged into both steam and steam friends? If you are, then your just unlucky, that sometimes happens to me too.

its just as random as a regular server

Sometimes I get an item every 20 minutes... sometimes every 5 hours. Totally random. I put the setting to show what everyone else is getting so I know that the program is still running correctly.

No you do not. You have to able to talk to your friends to logged into Steam friends.

Nope, as long as you can see your friends, your logged in. So that means your probably unlucky, like me.
I idled all night and all I got was

Don't know how you can use the program wrong, you open it. Thats about it, other than you have to be logged into steam friends.

It's all chance. I remember reading something that said there's a 1% chance to get a weapon and a .33% chance to get a hat every minute. I'm not sure if that's right tho

Yeah...I tend to run it while I'm at work then while I'm sleeping (3-11 @ work then 1-9 asleep.) I've had nights where I'd get 7 items and some where I'd get 2.
