Map voting

With the new maps, for jail, that have recently been released canyon, station etc. people prefer those maps much more than some of the older ones.
So i think that when there is a vote for the next map that there also should be a option to vote to extend the current map.

Any thoughts? Please consider this.

I agree with your third point, but a lot of people could consider map extensions a good thing. You'd also have to consider what people would say if our default map got extended after 55 minutes. That might make the whole server rage because "we play that map too much."

Perfect reasons and Ill extend upon this.

1) Many people like variety. Not everyone loves to play the same map for 2 hours. For those who don't like to play that map at all 2 hours would cause them and others to leave, thus killing the player population.

2) Playing the same maps for 2 hours does tend to get dull and thats why we have RTV so every hour or less we get a fresh new map.

This is why we wont be adding time extensions to the RTV list.
