Adding 5stargeneralAlphasnake randomly in the wiki entry would be nice 
I do seem to remember a discussion over this, resulting in the decision not do put ourselves on wikipedia.
We have however grown since then and maybe some of the reasons for not doing so earlier are now redunant. I shall dig up the old thread and post it in a moment.

OK, this one is seriously old, long before my time here, but it's got some relevant arguments in it. In fact it pretty much sums almost all the reasons not to write a wikipedia article. So really, I think this could change course a bit, and you can maybe (with the clan's intermittent help of course) write something with general info about the clan for purposes on edgegamers.org. Just a thought.

This is a good idea and all but...Wikipedia is an encyclopedia that ANYONE can edit. Keep that in mind.
yeah random ppl can edit it.... but i guess u can change it back
awesome...I'm very good with wiki markup and HTML so I'll work on the formatting.
EDIT: just looked at wikipedia page "Edge Gamers Organization". page was deleted May 21, 2008 as part of an expired PROD (Proposed Deletion) for reason: Notability. Page deleted by Camaron. Another editor proposed rule of deletion as: One of countless groups of video game players, lacks any evidence of notability or coverage.

Actually, i am not sure permission was required in the first place. Trademark would not protect it from a wiki entry, just like it would not protect it from a news article. Anyone can write about eGO if they wish to do so.
Also, people not in eGO will be able to edit the Wiki page.

We could assign different people to look after the wiki page, and keep vandalism off of it. Like admins almost.
This has been done once before as an experiment and it did not stand up to the notability requirement. I haven't seen any significant changes in eGO or their notability standard in the interval, so I imagine the same will happen this time.
