ok Im trying the creepy eye sig,actually the tut was to make the beautiful but I went another way with it lol like I said im just having fun learning, one day maby get as good as celtic :P but two things on this Im not to sure about the place of the text/correct font and color/opacity of the girl. I dont know somethings off, here u tell me.

The eye, I would have made it red instead of yellow. Not bright red, but a darker, dried blood type of red. The font is fine, same with the size. Opacity I would have lowered it a little and moved the text to the bottom eye lid.

The Crysis sig. In my opinion it's too soft. Not enough detail. And the C4D is out of the blue.
My personal preferences out of the way. They lighting works. With them, it's too much.

Is that suppose to be Dr. Manhattan?

But it's a bit soft, I'm not a fan of the teal with the more cobalt color. Since the blue that is with in the render its self is kinda a desaturated navy blue. So the colors to me kinda clash. My eyes are drawn to his right hand more then anything XD No idea why.
 
I like your newer stuff ALOT 3sev3n. I'm serious, you've gotten so much better its not funny. Good work mate.

I actually like that one! A nice thin like 2px border would be good, but other then that. I do like it. Though the background, like behind the main part, reminds me of sherbet ice cream :O

BFBC2 is fun :D Too bad I can't run it at a 60fps constant :(

Buuuuut anyways! I really like these signatures. You're putting renders with scenes. You're creating mood, flow, and making a story. Letting people people who have open minds think about what it means. You're doing MUCH better with color :D I ban your rainbow flavor unless it's skittles :D hahaha

I think one main tip for making signatures that you're putting on this forum, keep it at most 500x200 or you get the scrolley bar :( :( :(

There are a few techniques to getting a soft look. In my opinion, just depends on the render and where you're doing it at :D

I'm sure he can explain it better since the are HIS signatures.
But I can shed light on it with my own knowledge. The two main ways I know how are: ever so lightly blurring the edges. Or selecting the render and feather by 2-3 pixels or so. Good way to keep it clean. But some times it's situational :D

Anyways, plugins and scripts. Weeelll I honestly don't have any experience in either. I know with GIMP some plugins will help you for sure, but I'm not sure which ones would. Honestly it's something that someone who has more GIMP experience then myself (which is minimal) to answer. As with Photoshop, I've never even dealt with any, period. Haha

Btw, like my new sig? I made it up real fast. It's missing something yet it has everything, so I'm happy with it ^_^
 
l like how it looks like hes walking out of the shadow to some "wet work" lol im gonna try the feather and blur the edges , ill have to see if theres any tut on scrips where i can apply them alot is for animated stuff and i dont think im there yet
 
I havent been in the mood latly every time I start one I am very unhappy with it it seems to plain and boring like I hit a wall lol. o well heres on took me forever and I still think it could have been better
