Only edge members can become cts.

This would help a lot since edge members know the rules and etc.

There's a guy in there right now (not edge) and he's doing terrible.

His commands were "Shift walk to race by 3:30". I started going the wrong way (shift walking) and he shoots me instantly, no warning or anything. It was 4:00 at the time, not anywhere near the time he set anyways.

So, I think that only edge members should be able to play as the guards so they can give orders correctly and kill the right people at the right time and give out good, understandable commands.

After all, edge members are required to read all of the rules, correct?

Well, you have a valid point but what about the members that are regulars on our servers that do not wish to join edgegamres? We would possibly lose those pubs, plus it's always fun to rebel when you get bad orders xD

I personally notice close to equal amounts of strictness from both members and non members. Just because someone is a member doesn't mean they will be nice to you on CT. Also, there was nothing technically wrong with you being killed for going the wrong way, as no detouring and no delaying is implied. There are actually only a select few people who would direct you the right way instead of killing you.

Also, banning all pubs from CT just seems way too overboard and I doubt something this drastic will ever be considered for implementation.

^ im one of those people that redirects people, cause im nice that way, thats also why nearly everyone hates me, i have an idea, how about a little more respect for the doctor

I try and determine someones motives for their actions before I decide on whether or not I'm going to be nice. If they take a curved path edging towards a gun or a CT, I'm probably going got shoot them in the face. Of course, then you get called a tryhard and nobody likes you, but it beats your team being dead and mad at you for not watching their back imo.

Anyway, personally, I think we need to change up the default map every now and then. To be honest, I am tired of trying to fill the server when it goes back to Canyon for the 50th (clearly a hyperbole) time that day. Maybe set the default to some of those maps that are not played as much such as maryport, entanglement, or sona just get those other maps some play time and hopefully get people interested in more than three maps. Just my two cents.
