Heres my story

Me and misterblonde use to work with each other at a place called County Wide Jeep. Me and him use to talk about CSS:S and how it would be cool if we played together. But the only way he could play was at a Cyber cafe. Well i couple of months later he got a computer and hl2. So we started playing CS:S together because my crappy dell could only play CS:S.

Then he told me about DoD:S and how it was only $10 dollars. So i decided to buy it right there and then. After i installed it he told me to check out this server. So i went on one of the DoD:S servers that we have which i believe it was flash at the time, i had come in the servers with bad name not knowing who edgegamers was and got kicked I'm not sure if i got banned.

All i remember is Misterblonde sending me a message through steam telling me to go to their web site and read their rules. I use to dislike clans until i read their rules. I then signed up at edgegamers.us and starting playing like every night and then i got promoted and then i started playing more and more and more.

Now the story behind my name

Like i said we used to work at a dealership called County Wide Jeep
and around this time me and blonde started playin CS:S, our work got bought out and we were switching to VW and i couldn't think of a name to go with because i was told if i choose a name i would have to stay with it. So i couldn't think of anything so i decided to use GardenGroveVW, which now is stuck with me because everyone knows me as GGVW

Well last christmas I asked for Counter-Strike Source for Christmas. It ended up being the source pack that came with dod:s and HL2 lost coast, and HL2 Deathmatch. So after like 1 month of cs:s i got bored and tried out dod:s and i loved it. I was just a player who randomly picked servers. One day I joined the eGO server (donner) and played there for about a month. Striker and Toothpaste awuafresh got me to join. Then with the start of another branch of eGO I got TF2. And now with ANOTHER branch I got CoD 4. eGO FTW.

well tbh i cant remember much = )

After my surgery and got sent home i reinstalled steam and played DoD s again

So i was looking for server and seen none had played and i jumped on the eGO donner server = )

and just waited there for people to join = ) i kept doing that for a couple of weeks when in Console i dont remember good
Said to go sign up at the site so i did = )
i put me =(e)=Tag on and kept playing there since then = )

Thats when i met good old Revelations , we played so much during the morning time here and NIght in the UK it was so much fun = )

Then a Couple of weeks i believe was Promoted to eG
So i had a bit more of responsabilty on me now = )

kept doing what i always DiD played godly amounts of Hours on the Donner server and get it running in the AM.

few months passed i believe and got promoted to eGO now that was surprising for me , and got new servers = ) , so i started Hoping true all the servers all the time all day during my Surgery recuperation = ) Fun times oh man so much fun = ).

Then a few months passed by and i was on Teamspeak when Dom and Kendle Started messing with me on x-fire calling me a hacker and such and to get on Team Speak so i did , Then they started telling me that why was i HAcking i had such a Headche that Made it waaaaaay worse, After they had their Fun they said i was Promoted to advisor .

as an advisor I kept doing what i did best and Recruit people played more and had more fun.

Then the houses where created and thats when Rojo's Raiders where created AkA The Raiders.

Now i had more responsability Taking care of me houses buddies = ) and I believe i DiD a pretty good job = ) , Great people on that house yea!! = ).

A month passed i believe and i got an Offer To be in the Team fortress 2 Council and i Gladly accepted , now i be working with Drunken , MOP and Gardengrove good people.

now that i had more responsability i had to make Tough Choice and that was to resign my my House LeaderShip and Advisor Possitiong and dedicate my self to TF2.

But you know i cant stay away from DoD:S.

Now i play both games including Call Of Duty 4 and WoW>

So i am sharing time to play them all when i get of work and i tell yall i been doing graet job at that = ).

So ever since i been a faithfull eGO member everyone = )
100+ visits to the site since i been here = ) and i tell ya i dont leave this site or DoD and TF2 and COD4 nah
i make time for them all = ).

i Thank all Council for getting me to this Cool Community that has become a Family to me.

wow. garden you joined like two weeks before me. Well, me and Wal-mart are good friends. We starting playing games like battlefield 2142, Half life 2 and garrys mod ect. He then got the box set of CSS and DoD:S and said that DoD:S was an awesome game and when i get it i gotta join eGO. So i got the game and signed up and have been lovin it ever sense. I found eGO servers by random. I was looking through the high populated but low pings and I saw eGO's servers so I joined.

I really just kind of wandered upon the TF2 24/7 Dustbowl server. Dustbowl has been my favorite map since release, and it had a very good ping for me, so I started playing. I was impressed by the quality of the players, the levels of teamwork and maturity (from members and non-member "regulars" alike, and just the general attitudes of most of the people on the servers. It's rare to see a clan that actually works on filling out their servers and keeping a watchful eye on players. It's been a long time since I've played in a clan that wasn't just a bunch of my friends, so I was a bit wary of joining. However, after having a few members ask if I'd join, I did it. I think it was Zoomer that finally got me.

Haven't regretted it one bit. Best FPS clan I've ever been in. Love the people, love the servers.

I started when I buyed via steam the valve pack (hl:s; hl:dm, hl2, hl2ep1, hl2:dm, cs:s) because a friend told me to buy it, so I started playing hl2:dm and cs:s and get bored of both (too much hackers and crappy servers), the next buy was lost planet (love multiplayer, is really good, too bad there's no to much servers) and joined to small clan, when steam offered a preorder for the orange box I bought it right away only for portal, when TOB done downloading and every game was locked and the only game that was unlocked was TF2 I started playing, TF2 got me, the graphics, the music, the humor, everything was perfect so I started searching for good servers that got VAC and low ping.

Well I really like a server that emphizes the fun factor, rather than a server that judges you by how well you play. eGO had that the "civilized" nature (no swearing, courtsy, etc) as a well placed bonus. So when I got DoD scorce (cuase I loved the orginal) and came across the qualties of eGO servers i was looking for I was hooked. Now its the only server(s) I play, all other server are just seem.....well....uncivilized.

I ran into eGO by accident, lol...or did I?

Came to the server looking just to play, really. Thought it would be cool to join a clan instead of just playing solo without really knowing a lot of people while going server hopping. Asked Rain how to join, and I did. I liked how the rules were stated and everything too...

...but most of you know when I started, my voice chat was almost always running...

..and I've enjoyed eGO since. So I say I made no mistake coming here, because I enjoy the company of you fine fellows (and ladies) here. Just like a brotherhood.

I had been a dod player since the very first version came out(way back before half-life 2). As time went on I kind of fell out of it for awhile, but once source came out I was immediatly hooked again. I stumbled onto the edgegamers kalt server late one night over half a year ago. This became my second home for several months. I had really been enjoying my time there with all the sewer rat ego members. Finally several months ago like most, I gave into "Me the Butchers" constant nagging me to join up on EGO. So here I am. To this day Butcher still gives me grief for joining the RD house instead of the sewer ratz, lol .

As for my name "Chemically_Dependent" , like every living creature that inhabits this world. I too am Dependent on the Chemicals that make up my physical Chemistry. For with out them I surly wouldn't exist

Well for my Birthday about 2 years ago i got DOD:S and i played and played but i found myself coming back to a certain server everytime i got in the eGO AVA server so i asked about the clan and needless to say i immediately got confused and gave up while trying to look for the forums and a year after that I tried again bacause i kept playing on that server. So i tried again and joined up as a e and i played on the servers then TF2 came out and I bought the Orange Box and I played TF2 alot and one day about 3 eGO guys were on some random server so i asked them about the Tf2 clan and we talked and i was having a good time with them until there was 1 eGO guys left and that was GardenGroveVW he told me about the site and I joined up and that was about 2 months ago and I have never regreted it I love eGO!

I had just beaten Portals and Half-Life 2 when i decided to try out TF2. I immediatly got hooked. The EdgeGamers 2Fort server was the first server i joined. I think i met up with NYPD Sharpshooter and Booster. They told me to check out the website and sign-up. I out my name in the thread and an hour later i was recruited as an =(e)=. 3 weeks later i was made =(eG)=. I have watched people come and go and watched 2 new servers come alive. Ive passed along the knowledge, respect, and enthusiasm that is EdgeGamers and watched members coe alive and show there true potential.

ever since ive joined i have seen that there is something bigger than just myself. Coming from an egotistical operatic tenor that is a huge deal. Ive found a family that i am proud to be a part of. Yes guys, a family. Heck on these servers, Boosters my Brother, GardenGrove is practically a Cousin, Baron is the Drug-Dealing Uncle, and if Hera wants a 19 year old Tenor as a kid she can be my mommy...LOL...joking. No but seriously, you guys all have your own part in my family that i know as EGO. Im proud to say that we are a family that knows how to grow togethor. We guide each other down the straight and narrow path and help each other in the rough times.

So thank you all for being part of my family and lets keep this up. We have grown beyond our potential as a family than we ever could by ourselves. So lets get out there and recruit new members so we can keep the family growing.
And if i see one more spy come up behind me as im baseball batting a sniper i am going disown the spy who did it.

Let's see....clan member monkee was the one that introduced me to TF2. I bought the Orange Box so I could get the beta. After playing around servers I stumbled upon the eGO servers. I had been thinking about joining a clan, but had no idea where to start. I played on the servers a day or two and one night played engie in 2Fort and was down with radioactive cheese. I thought he was really cool and had liked the server environment, so I joined up. I got him to eventually join up also.

Since I've been here I've had a lot of fun...more fun than in any other game and online experience. After being here 6 weeks I got promoted to eG and shortly after that was shocked when Dominion first accused me of bossing around eGOs and then told me to put the O on my tag. (He really had me scared in game. I thought he was being serious.) I love the servers and the people that play in them. You guys (and gals) are all awesome.

As for my name:
In Jr. High I was really good at dodgeball, so my friends started calling me Pip after the character in South Park. Corona comes from word always wanting to correct the spelling of my last name to Corona. So one day we put them together to be Pip Corona because we were on the newspaper staff and wanted to do a column by a secret writer. It has stuck ever since.

It was Fate. My coworker IrishCarBomb joined and gave me the ip for the tf2 servers. I logged on and never looked back. Now I only play on edgegamers servers for tf2 and will be the first to admit i spend way too much time on the COD4 server.

Told me to check it out.... The next day I was bored so I checked it out, signed up on the forum...and just kept playing.

It was only my 2nd week on the game. Still learning how to figure out commands, and what not.

one of the first servers i come on when i first got TF2 was our eGo dustbowl and just got hooked started playing more on the servers soon enough figured i loved the people n servers why not come on the forums and now i got my e tag on and trying to leanr from the higher up

1. Joined due to popping on server and luckily finding a finn
2. Got eGO in my first day, I think
3. Met great personalities until my comp crashed 4 months into the clan
4. On my Return (took 4 months) we had aquired a Donner server, so I split my time to the two.
5. I started sniping.
6. And about 1 month or 2 before 1 year anniversary for me, I got advisor.
7. Then Houses came, and I started my own lil housie, The Foreign Legion.
8. And now we are here.
