I had like a 100 point lead and was in 4th place...until Calvin decided to die...along with the rest of my team.

Week 6 Bravo Results:
Hard to believe we've just about reached the mid-way point of the FF regular season, so savor it while we still got it (otherwise all you'll have is basketball and hockey to tide you over till next August eeeeew). Here are the Week 6 notables --

- Compton is the best. Well, at least according to him. Having dumped his 3rd-round pick Tom Brady just before the future HOFer's return to form, Compton struck the fantasy lottery when the normally anemic Joe Flacco exploded for 5 touchdowns in the first half alone. That coupled with T.Y. Hilton's 200+ yard TNF explosion were just enough to take down a pretty prolific BeeF team, 159.40 - 140.65.
- In other news, Skippy finally registered what feels like his first win in a very long time over (IO)SA, and Terror got absolutely wrangled (not sure if that is even a word) by Wewo, continuing his winless streak. Maybe it will be lucky Week 7 for Terror against BaCkStAb.
- Dangle returned from an off week to absolutely mash Hardwarebeer 186.40 - 101.20, and now sits comfortably atop his division with a 2 game lead.
- Two mysterious teams each own 4-2 records in the C-WHiT division: Curtis's Rad Team (rumored to be Predator Lark), and Derek Dandy Team (rumored to be Bigbird). What makes their accomplishments all the more impressive is the fact that neither of them have made ANY roster moves the entire season. Solid drafting, great line-up management, lucky matchups, or more than one of the above I have no idea, but I'd be very happy with a 4-2 record at this point in the season.

The first 3 seeds are assigned to each of the division winners/leaders. 4th onwards should then be based on the following tie-breakers (assuming similar W-L-T records) --
Code:
1. Total fantasy points (season total).
2. Fantasy points scored in last week's matchup.
3. Fantasy points scored in the matchup two weeks prior.

Week 7 Bravo League Results
Week 7 continued the roller coaster of headlines in the NFL and the roller coaster of events in Bravo League. Kiwi posted his second league-high score of the season to take down Tyler as part of an amazing rally following a 1-4 start. Golden Tate exploded to give MatzWhat a convincing win over the beleaguered Zero, whose trust in the strength of a Seattle Defense has paid him back with nothing but heartbreak this season. Your commissioner more than feels your pain, bro. The squeaker of the week came down to the Houston D grasping with its fingertips to the 3.00 points needed to hand Sprucewayne a victory over Efren by a margin of 0.85, despite their valiant effort to be 'held' back by the Steeler offense.
This week's C'MON MAN!: In a match-up for the ages, Hardware mashers posted two goose eggs yet continued on to not only defeat Predator Lark's team full of people NOT on Bye this week, but also post a point total that would have won him EVERY OTHER MATCH this week had he gone against the loser.
The League still remains a week-to-week affair, with the division leaders remaining no more than two games ahead, while the W/L/T record in C-Whit division is a three-way dead heat.

That game last night gave me some serious heartburn. I literally screamed at my TV "QUIT HANDING THE STEELERS THE BALL" and I don't think I have ever been that upset at a game involving two teams I am not really a fan of...
Week 7 Alpha League results
Fluxion and Wewo wrangled each other for the league's top year-to-date score in week 6. Unfortunately for them, Week 7 was a bit rougher on both teams. Wewo started off the week on an optimistic note - his opponent, Q-Tip, started Stevan Ridley on Thursday night even after he was put on IR. However, Tip's well-known man-crush, Peyton Manning, bailed him out of that mistake. Along with a solid performance from his Pittsburgh players (including a TD pass from a WR), it was enough to dominate Wewo's underperforming squad.
Fluxion's week did not start as well as Wewo's did. His opponent (lil' old Mavwreck ) got a solid Thursday-night performance from Shane Vereen. Flux was forced to start Gronk's backup at TE, who wasn't even targeted once. While that choice was forced by a bye week, his WR problems weren't. He left 4 WRs on the bench, and all of them beat his two starting receivers. The most painful pine-rider was Golden Tate; if he'd been started, his 38 points would have turned this into a squeaker of a win for Fluxion. Instead, Mav's Indy pair and Roddy White's 100-yard game cancelled out Flux's solid RB performance and a good Sunday from Tony Romo. Mav didn't wreck 'em, but his squad came out out of the week's closest game with a comfortable win.
BeeF didn't have any crushing disappointments; although Julian Edelman and Alfred Morris had off weeks, Pierre Garcon & Ronnie Hillman made up for them. Unfortunately, LeSean McCoy's bye week had this manager asking "Where's the BeeF?" - and with two empty bench spots there wasn't any way to cook up a replacement. BeeF also had the bad luck to run into the Demaryius Thomas buzzsaw. His monster game - plus some impressive Green Bay performances - gave Skippy the top score of the week and an easy win.
In the rest of the league:
We'll have to wait for Grand Commissioner Skippy to get the joint standings for the week. However, the playoffs are still wide open. The division leads are especially tight - one is a one-game gap, one is a tie settled by a one-game division-record gap, and the last is a tie settled by total points.

- Nuckin's fourth win in a row put him above .500 for the first time this season. An impressive showing from Sammy Watkins put him over (IO) SA, whose only serious disappointment was Jay Cutler's sub-par game.
- BaCkStAb's Swag Team got a superb fantasy performance from Russell Wilson (even though he lost in real-life). It helped them beat Terror's Team, who saw Matt Ryan continue his disappointing season.
- Byes and injuries hit Bay Area like an earthquake this week. Four of his six bench players were either off or didn't dress. The injury bug shook up his starters, too...Reggie Wayne was injured early, and Vernon Davis wasn't anywhere close to 100%. These all combined to give the Dr. Comptonites a breather; even though they underperformed they tore through Bay's AutoPick Team like a hungry raptor.

Yep, teams that don't make the playoffs can still duke it out in the toilet bowl playoffs during weeks 14 through 16.
